Those we take in school. SAT. ACT. PAWS. The state wide ones to prove improvement in classes for Bush's No Child Left Behind

PAUSE FOR PAWSVoted for by Elleon.
They are stupid. First they have us miss classes that are required for graduating to practice for this test. Then two weeks later they pull us from the same classes to take it again. Now I left durning the practice didn't even go. Its on the computer and the entire state is taking it. Durning the same time frame. The computers are crashing and kids are waiting 45+ mins for one qustion to load. There are 74 in math and 40 in reading then two extended response writing qustions. We did all the math and reading today. Now when I didn't go I was counted as there. When I actually go I'm counted as absent??? How does this work. How can one prove they know the stuff with something for many students. Not all kids take the same class. Home ec, welding, drama, writing, now english and math fine but I have friends my age and grade in geom. Algebra 2 and alg. 1 a few in trig and one in cal. now where all given the same test. How is this fair I haven't learned up to trig but its on the test. These are timed and you have to finish them in the time allowed so if I take my time and check all the problems and am a slow reader I'm screwed. Those with reading problems have the same time as the advanced readers yeah thats fair. Now true the ACT and SAT are looked at by coleges but tests like PAWS for no child are for school improvement, funding, and can get proficentcy in those courses but if you don't make the standards you still fail. So we get nothing.
