should sudents get paid by their parents for getting good grades and doing household chores?

this is a homework assignment of mine i am debating against not getting paid. so give me your opinion should or shouldn't we get paid for working around the house and recieving and exelling in school?


  • Eh

    I can see it either way. On the one hand it teaches you the true merit behind working hard: CASH MONEY. LOL, also, give MILD amounts of money to kids, depending on the age. It can help them learn about money management and they'll know the value of a dollar rather than thinking they can get what they want pretty easily.

    On the other hand, having your home clean and food on the table and getting good grades are their own rewards (at least down the line).

    School is not a place to snag a prize or money! chores,are like jobs exsept you don't work 90 million hours a day,i mean 4 dollars a week for a clean room makes much more sence than 15 dollars
