love the real meaning?

love what do you think it is not in the terms of this world but agape love

  • agape love

    agape love is

“self giving love, love that demands something from us, love that is more concerned with giving than with receiving, is a rare in much of the church today as it was in corinth. The reason, of course is that agape love is so unnatural to human nature. Our world has defined love as “romantic feeling” or “attraction” which has nothing to do with true love on goods terms.” - John Macarthur

    agapç is greek for love.

This topics simply can not be answered, everyone has a different opinion, and some people think it’s non existent. So consequently, the question is invalid for any one person to be right

  • embrace

when i hear agape i think of an open mouth. then i see eyes turned up towartds the sky, and a big smile, and the arms outstreched. love is embracing life, nature, people, ourselves. oits accepting it, and allowing it inside us, then its easy it just flows; in and out through you. loves like a warm flow inside which we evolve

  • Enigma

People are too general when it comes to the subject of love. The problem is love is too complicated for a human to really understand.

Love is a strong feeling for someone. Basically only that. When you go deeper, loving someone is finding the person with whom you wish to share your life. When you feel love, you know. But then you confuse yourself thinking that it's not love. Take it from me, losing the person you love by not being there to reveal it is painful. My earthly age is small, but my wisdom excedes that of most elders.

Love hurts. And so to avoid being hurt one must avoid love. But then one is hurt from never having loved, and so must hurt themself to keep from being hurt. To avoid misery one must love and be miserable to be happy. But then one is miserable. So in order to be happy one must enjoy being miserable, but then one would be unhappy because they are happy, and thusly would be happy from being unhappy from being happy.

And that, aqcuaintances, is the enigma of love.
