while someones upbringing does affect their life, it doesnt completely decide who they are. if that was true, then noone poor would ever become rich, noone from an uneducated family would be educated. there would be no room for improvement. that is like the feudal system, or the caste system in india, where people are born to a destiny and a certain life, and there is no room for improvement. if what you said is true, then we should all commit suicide, because we will all be clones of our parents, because they are the ones we learn from first. we can learn from everyone around us, but we also learn from ourselves, and that is what gives us a chance. the fact that no matter what people are around us, we are ourselves, and no matter if we try to avoid it, we have our own thoughts and feelings, and the people around you can't completely change that. they can affect it, but the people who you hang out with dont control your life.

certain factors like environment and the friend circle or the family background makes the person to do so . he falls in all these factors and becomes negative minded and the company brings oil to fire .

have you taken a psychology class?
A person’s upbringing may not determine exactly who they are to the dramatic scales of being exactly like your parents. You don’t just learn from your parents. You learn from the media, Peers, teachers, strangers, and yourself. The way people act in front of you is how your mind determines the correct way to react to the specific situation. Don’t you wonder why you react the things the way you do? Why you love the way you do? Or why some things make you cry and others don’t? At some point in time you observed a persons behavior to a cretin matter and your mind deemed it the way to do things. By saying “if that was true, then noone poor would ever become rich” is saying that in your whole life you would never know or see what rich is. I didn’t just see my parents economic status as a child I also saw peers and my families friends. You combined every event in your life into one large make up of who you are today. People you surround yourself with may not control your life but they have a large impact. I have moved state to state and I would pick up the accents. Not because I wanted it but because your mind interprets your surroundings and adapts to it. I went through molestation, abuse, and rape growing up. But I guess to you that means my negativity towards physical compassion yet obsession with sex has nothing to do with my minds contradiction between traumatic events in my childhood. Or does it?Please register or login to comment! It's totally free
