veg or non veg

eveyone hashis own eating criteria and many dishes to classify them we have veg or non veg with what you go veg or non veg

  • a mix of both

a really good diet should consist of both varients. you eat meat with a well rounded dish, and then a veg dish at least once a week.

but for me, veg all the time, couldnt do it, gets too monotomous.

  • I prefer Veggies, but...

...I eat an awful lot of chicken and fish also. There are no nutrients in meat, that cannot be gained from fruits and veggies, by themselves.

  • Are we so barbaric that we still need to kill and cook living creatures in order to satiate our primal desires for meat?
Vegetarianism better in every way than even a diet with meat. Only 10% of vegetarians die of heart disease, while it's the leading cause of death for other Americans. Vegetarians live altogether healthier lives as well. We actually were not made to be carnivors. Note our rounded teeth. Last time I checked I didn't have monstrous canines like a wolf, or even gorrilas. Other animals with teeth simiar to ours eat mostly fruit and bugs, ok im not advocating eating bugs.

I think the most important reason to go veg is ethical. As we know most of the world is starving to death. One cow consumes enough corn in its lifetime to feed 20 people--their entire life! If anyone is in to biology you know the energy pyramid. Even more energy is wasted by feeding, caring , and slaughtering beef. It would be so much more effiecient if we all just swithched to veg. That's only counting beef. If we no longer slaughtered pigs, chicken, etc., we could export food to starving nations we could solve world hunger just by switching.

The practice of raising animals is actually bad for the economy. One acre of land can raise 1-3 cows, which are worth much less than an acre of business. We would actually need less land devoted to agriculture because Veggies feed more people on less space.

Animals smell! I don't have the actual numbers but a grotesque amount of pollution is created by livestock. Plants actually help to clean the air.

Are we so barbaric that we still need to kill and cook living creatures in order to satiate our primal desires for meat? Come on people you know meat is bad for everyone and everything, there are other protein sources; control those caveman impulses and eat veggies!

    I guess I'm still a barbarian.If it doesn't have any meat,I don't consider it a meal.Besides,technically plants are alive too,so you're still killing something to eat.
