i'd like to know what people think teenage morality is headed towards.

In my view morality is not declining, but how open-minded society is is extending. In teenaged years each individual goes through a "rebellionious" stage if exposed to others besides their parents. Teens just get sick of getting orders from their parents. A 16-year-old boy will look down (taller) on his mother and his natural instict says "I'm bigger than you, so why should you boss me around?" Of course, this is just an instance (I'm sure not ALL men did that to their mothers), but the cycle is still the same in the way in which each teen goes out of their way to cross their parents. So, back to the question and my answer: Society is getting more open-minded. Years back mini-skirts were deeply frowned upon by old mom and dad, so it became a hit with the girls. Even farther back was the exposing of an ankle (gasp!). But because in contemporary society parents are used to individuals smoking, showing skin, and drinking they might not mind as much as the parents of olde. So, not a lack of morality, but searching for new and more daring ways of making older generations tut.

Things are more or less the same. but with the news, radio, tv and the internet, people communicate much easier than they used to, and that being, more and more people see the teenage pregnancy's, kids smoking maryjane's, maybe the respect for the elders is declining but school participation is, as i believe with my school, average through the years if not more cause we know if we want to live nice, we gotta make $$$.

More drugs, worse school participation, more pregnancies, less respect for adults, etcetera. I don't know, maybe it'll turn around, but the trend seems to be downhill.

I don't know about morality, but I'm convinced teenage mentality is declining at an increasing rate!
