Recent studies on the Apocryphal books:
What are they? it is said they were contained in the original Tanakh. Stories told in Hebrew, but later removed from the first printed Tanakh, by Jewish rabbis, 1000 years BC.
-----
FIRST PART OF THE APOCRYPHA: These stories from Daniel, namely, the Song of the Three, Susanna, and Bel and the Dragon; and extensive portions of the Book of Esther._____
The four stories do not contain any contradictions, against the rest of the Bible. They do not really add much either. But very interesting stories no doubt.
_____
THis statement below is just one of several explainations about the apocryphal books and VERY contradictory to SEVERAL other versions of its originations or beginnings.
_____
The Apocrypha was kept as part of virtually every Bible scribed or printed from these early days until just 120 years ago, in the mid-1880’s, when it was removed from Protestant Bibles. Up until the 1880’s, however, every Christian… Protestant or otherwise… embraced the Apocrypha as part of the Bible, though debate continued as to whether or not the Apocrypha was inspired. There is no truth to the popular myth that there is something “Roman Catholic” about the Apocrypha, which stemmed from the fact that the Roman Catholics kept 12 of the 14 Apocrypha Books in their Bible, as the Protestants removed all of them. No real justification was ever given for the removal of these ancient Jewish writings from before the time of Christ, which had remained untouched and part of every Bible for nearly two thousand years.
_____
THis is surely to be continued.......

*The Forgotten Books of Eden*
"This is a popularized translation of the OT pseudepigrapha, quasi-Biblical writings which never achieved canonical status (or inclusion in any of the official Apocrypha). This isn't to say that these documents are forgeries, just that for one reason or another they were not considered part of the Biblical text by the first millenium (C.E.) compilers." by Rutherford H. Platt Jr.

Keep the Bible Straight and Simple
No the apocrypha and presudapigrapha shouldn't be included in the Bible. Some are too taken by Devilwood film fads that fictionalize Christianity in order to attack moral and intellectual paradigms that they think rival their global market brainwashing power. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Biblical_canon#Orthodox.2C_Catholic_and_Protestant http://www.pseudepigrapha.com/ http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Biblical_canon *** I'd read someplace that a movie about Superstring theory was being put together...perhaps that was a joke yet it seems a good idea.frndofyaweh

Thank you, for providing links Gary.
ARP will look into all 3 of them, as they pertain to our study. You make a very good point above Gary G.; perhaps that is why, even long ago they were removed. We have also heard claims about personalizing of angels, as a reason for their removal. *more on that later* ARP reserves the right to await further study, before making a final assessment though. Thank you very much, for your reply Gary C Gibson! Sincerely, Frndofyaweh, Adonai Rock PressMakessenseright

I don't see it
"He didn’t take the time to edit it WITHOUT silly contradictions and information useless in modern times." I don't see it, your silly contradiction or useless information, I just don't see it in my Bible. By the way, I have read it, cover to cover, twice. I listen to about 3-4 hours of teaching on it per week and read it maybe 5 hours on my own per week, I also co-lead a 2 hour Bible Study every Friday, so I think if there were any blatant contradictions, I would have found them!Weydon
