Neuro-prosthetic enhancements & Bio-mechanical upgrades: For or Against?

Should humans become more mechanical in an age that has been dubbed the 'age of information', (Despite what little we actually get from our government. lol), I.E: Human/Computer integration? And for those that have no clue what I'm talking about, putting computer parts in our bodies for the most part.

  • FOR IT

I'm for it. IF there's an age limit. Like no one can be altered until 21 or something. So parents can't do things to their kids that the kids might regret later.

  • Careful...

I don't think our technology is far enough advanced for any practical implication of your idea. Plus it would cost an arm and a leg. Plus we would have to be very careful about side effects and stuff.

  • LOL

I'm totally for it. It'll be awesome. I have metal in me from an operation and that alone makes me feel ahead of the game!

  • Human Computer integration?!?!?!
Ehh??? That is some SciFi stuff. Personally unless I needed my arm replaced, new leg, new eye's, ect. I wouldn't really want anything replaced. I mean, Why would you? I wear glasses, and I would like to be able to see better without them but to go so far as to have cameras or something else to relace them. Not so much. Now if I develope a problem and need a replacement then sure. Kinda reminds me of that joke from "Man of the Year" though. Robin Williams says that phones are getting so small now that eventually they will just be grafted into our bodies one day. You'd be talking to some one and all of the sudden "Wait I have a call!" You tap behind your ear. "Hello?! Oh high Reggy! Just a sec. i can't hear you, let me turn up the volume." You reach down to your rib and press it several times. "Yeah thats better. Now what where you saying?"
