  i dont drink i like the taste of wine and i think there should be no drinking age but...i dont drink in argentina [where my family is from] my cousin who lives there told me there is no drinking age and fewer teenagers get drunk than in the united states honestly do you think there should or shouldnt be a drinking age in the united states.?

  and sex i am waiting till i am married to have sex but many people think its dumb [despite what anybody tells me i will not change my mind about this i just want to see what others opinions are]. i do other things like oral and hands but i dont think it to be sex sex is intercouse and neither of those are that but. in your opinion what do you think should people wait till they are married [again nothing you say will change my mind] and are other things allowed.!?

    Alcohol is ok, I dont really drink that much though and have never been that drunk (no throwing up and stuff like that. I think 21 is a very high age for drinking and that it should be lowered but I also think that guns should not be legalised there. I dont think you are dumb for waiting but i think you are missing out without a very good reason. However if you are engaging in those kind of sexual practices you are not missing that much (some people prefer them to real intercourse)

    The drinking age should be 19 in the U.S.

    That way if someone doesn't start drinking until that age they won't have problems with their life in high school. It is better to graduate high school with no stress that is caused by alchol. When you graduate from high school you can get a job. Most places don't allow you to if you drop out of high school, just because your life became stressful after the things that happened to you when you were drunk.

    the drinking age in the uk is

    18 and the age of consent it 16 (thank fuck i am 17) i see those as perfectly resonable as most teenagers are sexually acctive at 16 but most (myself included) are drinking before 18 (due to different laws it is legal in the home. but i think the americans are far too strict with sex at 18 and drinking at 21 most people are acctive in both years before then

    I wouldn't say that 'most' teenagers are sexually active at 16... Some start at thirteen or fourteen, with other teenagers, and many remain virgins until into their twenties. Sex is a matter of choice, and no-one should be pressured into doing anything they don't want to do, for whatever reason. (Although unfortunately, many are.) As to alcohol, there is no real age limit as regards drinking in the home in this country (UK) and in private party venues, drinking under eighteen is legal and widespread. I don't think it does much harm when done in moderation, but some people overdo drink and land themselves in hospital. Which is not good.

    Drinking is something that I have trouble dealing with. Both my parents were abusive alcoholics, which makes me feel a lot of pain and hatred toward heavy drinking. I think that in moderation alcohol is fine, and teens like to drink because it is rebelious, and there wouldn't be as big of a problem if the age was lowered. To me, sex before marriage is the most logical thing a person can do... Sex takes the relationship to a completely different level. The entire relationship changes. What if it happens to change for the worse? and then you're already tied to that person? That would pretty much suck. I think it is a wise idea to test the waters and see if your relationship can endure the complications that occur due to the complexities sexual relations will undoubtably bring to the relationship.
