Pot legalization?

Most people think that marijuana is a horrible drug that turns the teenagers of today into mindless idiots. I for one, think that is a load of crap. What are your veiws on the subject? Should it be legalized?


  • The reality is this...

    Weed was legal in this country as well as many other drugs. Weed was attacked at first because mexican immgrants would use it in califoria. The attorites of the times were affarid white woman would start smoking and engage in wild orgies with mexican men. Then the timber compancies fought to illegalize pot because hemp paper was cheaper and more avaible than tree paper. But when you think about it hemp can be used for many things and many differnt kinds of materal industries started fighting it so they would have the edge. At first it was believed marijuana would kill you. That was very quickly disprovened. Then it was believed marijuana would make you a killer. This can be seen in the old flim "Tell your children," also know as "Reefer Madness." Again that too was a load of BS. Then it was said that pot would make you crazy. Now its "Pot will make you do some dumb stuff." You know those antimarijuana adds are retarded. The stupid girl that was flat or deflated. Come on. What a crock. You would have be a complete idiot to believe that your going to shrink down to a foot tall because you to tried weed. The fact is here is what weed does. It gives you the munchies, it can give you a soar thoat, while under the influences you can be forgetful, you can get the giggle etc... When you look at the adds for the legal medications, I really can't understand why weed is illegal. I mean come on. There is a pill for menopause that tells you "do not take this pill if you have a uterus." Now thats messed up. It could also cause alizmers and certain forms of cancer. What the friggen hell!!! I don't know about anyone else but I don't want to take this drug. You know what I bet a little pot would make an emotional, menopausing woman claim down and be much happier than something that requires them to remove their uterus. Also think about all those pills for depression. "May have sexual side effects." I don't know about you, but not being able to perform sexualy would make me depressed. That just can't be good for a relationship. Again I'm sure the drug compancies don't want to loss on all the money they are making if people could just grow something that made them feel less depressed in their own back yard. Hell its called weed because thats what it was. I grew every where. Again America is being run by big businesses now a days.

    if it was legal, do you realize how the corporations would have a field day turning it into the next cigarette? not only that, but i personally think that enough stupid people roam this planet as is. we don't need to add to the idiot count by making it even easier than it already is to become a dumbass. a hungry dumbass who laughs too much.

    i have nothing against weed currently, i am friends with countless stoners who enjoy it immensely, but if/when it becomes normal to see hordes of bumbling idiots walking around with food hanging out of their giggling mouths, i will shoot myself.

    i agree with the use of hemp, it's useful stuff, but giving corporations the chance to commercialize smoking marijuana and turn america into one huge hotbox is not something i can advocate.

  • It is legal in some places
    Marijuana is now legal in 22 states of the USA, in some form. This Ranges from medical use to .28 grams of personal possession.

    There was an article in USA Today on this about 10 or so days ago.

    It was a proganda article for the most part and made a very lame attempt at making pot sound addictive. This articles writer also had to admit, no solid evidence on most of it's sources claims.

    I work for this company no less?! I can almost bet ya, some desk editor at USAT was forced to pin that story duty on the happless writer.

    I am not advocating Marijuana legalization but this image I made with Bryce and PhotoShop is my political vision for our future.

    I had a headline for it. Something about screwy laws and where will we go next? kinda stuff.

    I don't think it should be legalized, unless it's for medical purposes. My brother died from its use, so therefore I am against it. I've also seen someone shot over three dollars worth. I see nothing positive in its use for most people.
