If you need to ask the question to what life means, there is an issue with life that you may find uncomfortable at this time.

I give you some quick analyzations to ponder: What is it that makes you alive? What is it that allows you to define life around you? What is an apple to YOU?

Life itself is an elusive creature. Yes a creature, for how else would you define a body of functioning objects that respond to stimuli that make up a greater whole loosely defined by a "community," solar "system," and even greater, "universe" for these words contain elements in which we apply to the realities we associate with being human. So how can we piece together the governing bodies that define this elusive creature? We cannot, for we are simply a part of it, and as an apple cannot define WHY it is an apple, it simply is just an apple.

There is no biased argument for what life itself is, for if you place a label on it, you destroy the essential part of the mystery that surrounds it. Some may argue that a diety will presume what is worth command, or deem what is alive, but without language how can such a deity explain such occurances without the voice of a man or woman to dictate them? The answer is that NO man or woman can or will ever be able to tell us what such a diety says, because a deity is (simply put) the definition of control over all we realize and can possibly understand in some form or another.

Another point is what people consider a scientific approach to defining what is alive. I personally despise the use of science as fact, as it CLEARLY is just an explanation of things that happen by repeated testing of the phenomena at hand. Science is NOT a fact itself, but seeks to explain the facts that we witness day to day. With that taken into account, one can only justify what we WITNESS to be alive, and what we understand of the functions of life itself. Unfortunately, science can only give us so much, and the bias of the individuals that conduct the experiments often taints the facts with their opinion, unknowingly. We are not the judges of what life is or what it means to other beings, for we are not them and therefore shall never know.

This finally retracts upon itself to my original question of what life is to you. Do you know? Does asking bind that curiosity inside all of us into a few simple sentences? Is that all that defines us as humans? Take a look inside everything that makes you who you are. Is it worth what YOU would define as life? After answering that, imagine what an apple is to itself, even without higher brain functions, and being the reproductive function of a larger "system" (like the solar kind) that simply wishes to exist in this tiny blip of eternal uncertainty.

HUH! it aint easy to live… that’s why sometimes i think this life, your life, my life.. is our greatest challenge .. Why am i here? to talk and talk and talk.. to exhaust all that is in my brain.. and you guess.. it can’t be exhausted.. it kept on pouring ideas.. it kept on looking… searching.. commenting.. judging….. HUH! Sometimes i really wish i never been born at all.. now i know why dear Freddie’s song will always be a HIT… and guess what even the wisest man had said that if not for GO_… it’s better not to have been born at all.. it’s Soooooooo lonely.. Happiness is just a glimpse of man’s merciful state of loneliness.

Perception is the reality…..

You breathe. Everything that breathes... grows... reproduce... is alive.

Alive is who you are now. We are alive because we are breathing. We are alive because we have been born. We are alive because we are living. You get what I mean.
