Ok, so, have you ever met someone, who keeps dead moths and other insects on their shelves? Doesn't that creep you out a little? I mean seriously, think of it this way, your a small, insignificant human, and there's a larger, more sophisticated species, let's call them Fnarks(indulge me) And you, are trapped in the dwelling of one. Now, as you are searching through the house, most likely looking for an escape route, you see what appears to be one of your own kind. But, as you approach, you discover, that it is none other than your dead grandfather! Now, going back to dead moths, with that in mind, creepy?

I would feel very proud to have a relative on display... better than visiting whilst there 6 feet under where i cant see them. pop round for a chat thursday afternoon marvel at their ornamental skills, yeah doesnt seem all that bad

I dont get why you just asked that... I mean like 90% of people think that moths are scary, I'm actually very afraid of bugs and insects. Its one of my worst fears. But people have likings and attractions to something that most people dont. That doesnt make them creepy, or weird though. You should'nt let other peoples hobbies or attractions get to you. Try and live life with you in the middle. Dont let other people get to you though.

he he this is silly! why are you people talking sillyness if the moths really disliked it and could think the same way we do i think they would have tryed to do something about it by now but they havent. but if the Fnarks did di it to us we try and stop it for some reason its in our nature i dont think the moths are really bothered. :-) so if ppl want to have them on thier wall its not creepy some can be very pretty to look at.

That wasn't really appropriate, he/she didn't do anything to you at all. I think that's scary when you think of it that way- (what isn't) but some people are just strange that way... but I wouldn't keep dead creatures on my shelf.

assumingthat the lower species has a concept of life and death... for what good is the question to a moth that only knows instinct and servival... flawed question... although slightly creepy if were true.Voted for by pnktrky.

NoNot really. Humans have done this even to other humans for centuries, and many crazies still do. I don't see anything creepy about keeping dead insects. Insects are the coolest things in the whole world, yet their central nervous system denies them pain and their mind a consciousness. They are like mini organic robots, nothing else. Sure I feel empathy for a tiny little weevil that happens to still be writhing about hours after I have gassed and pinned it to a piece of cardboard, but supposedly the empathy is rather one sided.Voted for by TeChNoWC.
