All a person seems to desire in life is a certain amount of security and a generalized version of normalcy. In the end, it seems that is one of the reasons a person kills themself, because they have too much security and not enough reason to live.

security of a society66% Voted for by dream catcher, grant.
To seek security is to seek for ones own death. Search for what makes you feel most alive, not sitting around watching television, but going out and doing something new, unexpected, off-the-wall. Normalcy is nonexistant so why try and attain it?

normalityVoted for by Auxiliar.
normality, an appendage of security, is the praxis of life creeping into ones identity. Violence, including that against oneself, is an assertion of identity. By the end, these are the only things that one can tell oneself that one wants. Security is lacking, security being an element in ones identity, and in suicide one establishes both in a final and fell swoop.
