If you believe Satan exists, please give your most compelling experience or argument that this is so.
If you don't, try to dispell those who do.
And please, keep it amusing, not petty.

I would not choose to say that I know Satan exists, but I would choose to say it to believe it (solidifies my belief even further if I can make myself think that I know it) which is the way of all things. Illusion, deception, and finally, trust, faith and hope. They are one in the same, yet the one who is decieved follows death blindly, while the latter three push into the unknown, and are liberated through perception. When one's faith is immeasurably strong, they deny to believe any other than that with which they hold to, this including reality itself. A schizophrenic is faced with this problem. They must ignore their own reality, and choose to believe and have faith in one that to them, just does not seem to exist, yet, very well could do. Whatever is witnessed that contradicts my desired beliefs is automatically denied. This is true strength, as the devoted clings to the impossible, and no force can sway them from this. Such a person, when waking up and finding themselves in hell, would choose not to believe such a reality and regard it as an illusion, because it cannot exist. Giving in to deception is giving in to death, as then one can be prompted to do anything, and are a slave to will of WHAT COULD BE.
That said, I have heard the voice of Satan, or some other demonic force after waking up from a dream where I felt as if my spirit was leaving my body, and my mind urging me on. The voice was a manifestation, and it occured just after I had finished the passage in Ephesians about the armour of God. I chose to read this passage after returning to my room and feeling a sickly presence, and finding my vision start to go all hazy. The voice was audible, and it came from no distinct direction. It was also heard by others within the house.
This is just a mere experience. It is not the reason why I believe Satan exists. I believe Satan exists because I choose to, and because of the promise put forward by such a belief.

If God exists..then so does satan. Or at least the presence of what he represents i.e. temptation to commit sin exists.Voted for by Applehead.
