Teachers and their lesson plans

  • In my day

I don't know how old you all are, But at the risk of sounding old, I grew up in the 80's and early ninties. A time when we actually had to get good grades and we were accountible for school work. A time when parent's actually cared about our grades. Today though parents are told not to be to pushy about grades. Teachers unions are taking away things like the constitution and Decaration of independance because the forefathers had the audasity to use the word god. A time before the clintons when it didn't take a village to raise a child it took two parents, whether they were divorced or not. Evalution is a theory as well as theology why arent both theories tought in school? Chinese children are being tought algebra and trig in the fifth grade why not americans? My point is that in an age of technology and advanced science our children are falling far behind even the most simple of countries in education. we are lacking in the basic education because we don't want to offend anyone. I call the SOL's Or the standerds of learning the "Shit out of luck" because we are telling our children that we don't have to strive to learn we just have to get by. we are raising a genration of children that cant do the simplest math or read or write there name in the name of political correctness. What a jip it must be for the children that are so ignorent about the education they are recieving that they don't even know they are getting jipped.

  • My school sucks

One of my teachers had lesson plans this year. I hardly learned anything, because my teachers hardly taught anything. It is so ridiculous. I can't stand being in school for no reason.

  • Mix 'em up!

My belief is that teachers should mix up their lesson plans from time to time. I’m in the middle of about three teachers that have the same lesson plan every grading period, and I feel that nobody is learning anything.
