    Most of the music

    Most music that has came out in the late 90s to date, but mainly, rap, hip hop, r&b,alterative rock,and pop , though a lot of the country is junk lately also

    Let me correct myself: "I" think most of the current music these days is JUNK. My opinion is my own and no one elses but that is how I see it and that is how I feel. If you feel differently then more power to you!!

    80's

    well you have to understand, I'm 41 so I was raised in the 80's. Most everyone likes the musical era they were raised in and I can understand that. I come along when MTV was just getting it's start. Music videos were just getting started good. Unlike some people my musical tastes varies so much. I honestly don't favor a few groups. One minute I might be listening to Van Halen and 1 hr. later I might be listening to classical. As I said I love most all 80's music but if you make me nail down one particular kind as my favorite then I'd have to say love song of the 80's in general. But now........LOL. I love to rock too. I love Bruce Springsteen, Bob Seger & The Silver Bullet Band, Van Halen, and etc... I honestly do not like rap. It could be because it never was established as a music genere until later. I remember when rap first came out and was not getting hardly any air time on MTV and etc.

    lol, i am not a fan of rap either and do like Van Halen and Bruce Springsteen and Bon Jovi. but i might add that remixed 80's music is not as good as the origional.

    That's all pretty good stuff. There was rap in the 80's and even 70's though. I don't like too much of rap myself, but I've liked some Jay-Z, BIG, TuPac, Public Enemy, Run DMC, and a few others. Cross genres with rap speak to me more often. Modern music has its merits. I agree it definately helps being raised in the era. Technically this IS my generation but I still relate myself to the music of the 90's and even 80's more than today. But there are some good bands out there that are popular, and other more obscure styles that are great too.
