is it wrong to have murdrous thourghts

i often when im angry consider committing murder

  • It Depends
Everyone thinks of killing at least one person in their life time.

Yes even people the follow "Gods law"

Just today I was thinking about killing a few people, as was my partner (wont go into details)

As long as you do no harm I cant see how thinking it is bad.

    JUST DON'T ACT IT OUT!

  • Two Quotes For Thoughts of Violence!!
The topic-initiator is a honest guy. You need guts to say that. I remember a quote by Gandhi "Whatever you do, be true to yourselves and to the world. Hide not your thoughts"..... this guy ? needs an applause. but here is the punch...Gandhi continues..."If it is shameful to reveal them, it is more shameful to think them."..... meaning, there is nothing great about that thought. Just forget it, that is, if you can.

He also said to the effect..."An act of violence against a fellow human being is an act of a coward."

  • God Murdered Everyone Except Noah's Family
In the Old Testament God killed millions and millions around the world. You mean to tell me there wasn't at least ONE other family that was living a moral life during Noah's time?

But look what happens in the Bible. God EVOLVES. He was a mean S.O.B who murdered people and governed like a Saddam Hussein. God made a mistake and realized it. He apologized for his mistake (God is NOT perfect) by promising not to kill again. And a rainbow appeared in the sky. God was absolute power. History has proven the old adage, "power corrupts, absolute power corrupts absolutely". God in His absolute power was corrupt. He fixed this by distributing his power to a Son and a Holy Spirit. God evolves.

Murderous thoughts should be watched. I doubt that you will act on them because something Higher is preventing you. The Law. The law stops you, not the Bible. The penal law is higher than the Bible because it has more stopping power. Note the Crusades. Bible toting folk killed in the name of their Holy book. The Law, today, thank god, is more powerful than the Bible.

  • It's not wrong to have any kind of thought.
Thoughts are fine, I've had murderous thoughts myself. It's only wrong if you act on those thoughts. Admitting to having them makes that less likely.
