If I wrote my own bible and buried for 1000 years....

What would happen when somebody found it after 1000 years.

Mmmmmm... I wonder

  • they would find a forgotten text,

Some of the more foolish would make a religion from it perhaps, look at the "Late great planet earth" but for the most part people know that truth is enduring , and doesnt get lost, God is capable of preserving his truth

  • You could start a religion TODAY

Look at Mormons-- aka "Jesus does America" or Scientology, which was founded on a bet! You could start your religion if you wanted to. Just write something that vaugue enough to satisfy some people's questions about life and the existence.

If you were to bury your bible and then someone found it, they would begin to search for the proof of it. The real Bible has been proved a thousand times over. Religons could be started over what you wrote, but would they be true? The Bible has been proven in many ways: 1. History proves it to be accurate detailing of events passed. 2. Science agrees with it. (and some of this stuff was wrote before scientists even knew what it was!) 3. It says more than 3800 times in the Old Testament alone, that this is the word of God. (pretty hard to miss all of the 'thus sayth the Lord' s. ) Could the words that you wrote prove things like this? I don't think anyone's could.
