Whatever/Whoever created all of us, yet we argue that "my Gods better than yours". Why do we do this? It is because the rules are different for each of us. We can't all be right and we can't all be wrong. How about team work?

Applehead, in my life I have seen examples of great good and evil done in the name of religon. I have seen congregations rally together to help a member of another congregation who is sick or having trouble. I have also seen the hate of the KKK and Fred Phelps. How can all these people follow the same god? How can Jim Jones and martin Luther king both base their faith on the same book? The only reasonable answer I have come up with is that the problem is not with god or the bible but with the person interpreting god’s word. When someone is convinced that their slant on the bible is absolutely right and any questioning of any thing the bible seems to say amounts to a lack of faith. This in my opinion is the beginning of evil. How can someone say he loves god but hate any of his creations?

The main reason40% Voted for by Dwn, Energizer Bunny.
The main reason is the differences in doctorins, for example, If I have a friend named Mike and he is a short overwieght balding man who believes that eggs make you live longer , And some one comes along and says , hey, I know Mike hes a young man with thick curly hair, and hates the very thought of eggs, then a third comes and says , you guys must know the same Mike, I dont think its likely that we are talking about the same person, even though the name is identical. The same with God,the title might be the same , but in most cases we are deffinantly NOT talking about the same God. Niether is he part of any other , even if they may share some oppinions.

Is it possible to work together on this?Voted for by Applehead.
Publicly various religions are becoming more tolerent of each other. I believe it possible that in the future people may come together with all good and bad, past and present ethics and combine our ideas to create harmony.
