Stereotypes and nonsense only succeeding in labeling people without verification. Defining them in negative groups, that if embraced, is embracing a narrow viewpoint. What If you have several of these characteristics? wouldn't it be wrong to pigeonhole you in just one definition?

Always doing ten things at once but cool and calm with it. (makes me dead jealous). Knows how to please people machines, animals you name it they can do it. Will be seen carrying hankies, plasters and swiss army knife. (Or anything alse you might need) If for some strange reason they don't have what you need they make it from bits and bobs found near by.

These people pick out all of the negative aspects of society and grimace daily. They gather people up into tiny artificial clusters and post them on allphilosophy.com. As a whole, these people hate their lives but get satisfaction out of the fact that several other people's lives are worse. Disillusioned by society and determined to make sarcasm their everday language, they no longer know how to have a serious conversation about a serious issue without humor being involved.

And as some people are professional victims, and there are enough of them in a population upwards of 6 billion to form them collectively into a group which we may generalise, there lies the opportunity for exaggeration and stereotype.

okay, look. i donno if you were over at the forums at all but he posted something along the lines of this. Nefer was a victim and as humans we try to blame other people for our problems (hence the last bit of my second to last post). If you havent guessed by now, i am taking a few psychology courses and i know its posts like these that a good percentage of our population of our worlds' people who have low self-esteem would find damaging.this whole thread is on stereotypes and most of them that are mentioned are negative. stereotypes are damaging and i donno about you, but i try to lessen the "hurt" around me as much as possible. even if that means going over the top on posts such as this (of course this has been an extremely interesting debate too).
