I’m not trying to bash athiests, I’m just curious what others think there is if there is no Heaven or Hell.
Nothing? That’s depressing. But anyways, everyone has a right to believe what they want. So what do you all think?

But I don’t believe in heaven and hell. And I’m not sure there’s anything at all. I’ll find out when I die. Or I won’t.

The atoms that used to make up your body will redisperse back into the environment. There will be life after your death, because life will go on without you. Don’t get trapped in the illusion of “self”. You are a small, temporay link in a very long chain of events. This will only bother you if your ego needs pruning.

Infinite Void6% Voted for by RiseFromThyAshes, Piscean Wisdom.
I don’t know what will happen when we die, but my best guess is we just dissapear. It’s hard to imagine nothing, just as it’s hard to imagine infinity, and some say zero and the infinite are the same thing. So by dissapearing, you’re actually living forever. (Hope that makes sense.)
Another idea I had was that your mind still exists when your body dies, so you’re forced to watch as worms devour your liver (or your heart if you were missing your liver)... But that idea is highly unlikly.

There Is Not Death, There Is LIFE6% Voted for by solaris, Exo.
I believe we die into life.
For Heaven and Hell, they are merely state of minds. I call Hell-Polaroid Leakage (there is a poem called that that I wrote you can find on Allpoetry) and Heaven is a final Muscle Climb (another poem I wrote you can find on Allpoetry)
My belief system is pretty complex..If your confused..thats good because perhaps if your interested you can ask questions.

I believe in Inner-Gods. Self-worship.
if your going to replay to this, please , do not waste your time bashing and proving me WRONG..because I believe we are all right in our own eyes.

The Elysian fieldsVoted for by Kevin.
After death we go to a beautiful green pasture where we sit around drinking mint julips and discussing the best part of the lives we just led. From the experiences we just had, we attempt to achive perfect wisdom, and repeat life experiences until we do, then become one with ‘god’.

Eternal life of LoveVoted for by Mary O.
We either enter into eternal life of Love with God Who is Love or eternal life without Love which is Hell. We make the choice here on earth to love or not to love. Pride is the biggest distroyer of mankind. Pride makes no room for charity/humility which is love perfect.

Another Opinion of MineVoted for by Keegan A Combes.
There is nothing after death, but eternal blackness Or maybe a dream, in your mind for almost an eternity, or maybe you reincarnate. The reason why I don’t believe in God, is because, “If man were not created, then the belief of God, doesn’t exist” Something similar to what I said to “If God was perfect, why did he make the Man”

If You Do Believe In GodVoted for by Andy Stephenson.
There is no evidence that there is life after death. Living things die and stay dead. I think it is unrealistic not to believe in God, but I also think life after death is unlikely, though remotely possible.

Life After DeathVoted for by Keegan A Combes.
There could be a Life after Death, or there probably isn’t any Life after Death. If death was to come that fast, there may be a Life after Death. When you are sleeping, you hear no sounds, but your thoughts are behind you, and you dream. When you die, and if there were no Life after Death, you might be just having dreams, for your whole eternity, but your brain shuts down is dead, and in time it will vanish, so where are you. Maybe there could be a soul, or your just a bunch of dirt, in the Earth’s crust.

why do you have to believe in god?Voted for by stainedillusion.
well do you really have to believe in god of any form to believe in life after death? I don’t feel that you need to be religious or believe in god to think that their is life after death. but that’s jus my opinion. and there are so many different views on what life after death actually is…is it reincarnation? the moving on of the soul? i mean there are different options.having jus read what i have written i guess i’ve gone off topic… meh

The Summer Coutry and ReïncarnationVoted for by Morgaine.
I believe that generally you’re put on this Earth to ‘complete your soul’ and learn lessons, and you can’t learn them all in one life. I think that we reincarnate and when we’re ready we’re accepted into the Summer Country. The short explanation of The Summer Country could be “heaven” (but it’s not heaven), but the explanation to me (which is a little more complicated than the concept of heaven) is that the Summer Country represents wholeness, completeness and the essence of being. It is the core that is in all of us that we feel, it’s the incompleteness we all feel in the silenec. But hey, that’s just me.

Ponder this...
...Than, why were you born? If what you say is true, than there is no meaning to life. No reason to live. Why are you here? Your theory has a lot of questions to answer. Because, if you serve no purpose, than you shouldn't exist. And that isn't true... --JFBKazrith

Is there a purpose?
I don't know why we should assume that there is a "reason" why we are born, other than that biology works. Why should we assume there is a "meaning" to life? No living organism needs a reason to live. Life for life's sake, maybe? The biological imperative to reproduce in order to make more organisms like yourself? And why do we need to serve a purpose in order to exist?July 31, 2006

My niece has seen her uncle
Or maybe heard him. She is 3 years old. My sister told me that she said that her uncles back was feeling better. He had a liver disease caused by alcohol consumption. Please register or login to comment! It's totally free
