Do you belive as I do that the blind can see through there fingers when they read Brail?

  • define "see"

Their fingers are doing something, and Braille is a language of sorts; but if they see anything I would have to say that it is their own imaginative talents that they see and Braille allows this much more easily than print.

  • I believe they see but in a different way

If they had sight at one time before loosing their vision then that is different. If a person has never had vision then I believe they see in their own way. They perceive the world differently then we do in many ways but how can they imagine a quarter and a dime if they have never seen one before. I do not know what they see but I know they imagine something. It's like a word association sort of. When someone says dime or they feel of one I believe they picture something.

  • Collors

I read about some research once that sugested that blind people could both feel and smell different collors, personaly, I dont know what to believe, it seems to me that if it had any validity there would be more info on the subject.
