is it possible to win war?

no! either way, one side will lose to the other and one will "win", therefor no one wins!

Wars can and have been won,

The cost however is always to high. Unfortunantly, as long as there is greed, and the desire for power, they will be fought, I personaly believe that even religious wars are fought for these reasons on the top end of the equation. The followers fight for suposed faith , while the leaders feed the fire to gain power and wealth. The powerfull men may win, but for the people who fight the war,__both sides loose

Jesus will win the last of all wars soon. Because he has the means to do it and the will to do it. Not like the USA, that has the means but not the will.

Im afriad you are mistaken on one point, the US does not have the means to defeat China, The rest of the whole earth combined, Could not defeat china in a military might situation. I do however believe that it is China that is refered to in revelation concerning the one who it shall be said of "who can make war with her" and goes on to say she shall be distroyed in the space of an hr. with not one stone left standing upon another. With so much development in industry going on in China, and Major world corperations taking advantage of the slave labor wages available there..."and the merchants will stand from afar and watch the smoke rising from her and weep saying "we have made our fortunes in her"

I believe this is the verse that you refer to: Rev 13:4 And they worshiped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshiped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him? ---- The dragon is surely Satan, probably in the form of the vatican who gives power to the beast which is the soon to be formed and consolidated European Union. I might concede that China would be a formidable opponent, but it is a moot point. The US and China are not destined to fight. Also, in Daniel, China is identified as one of the Kings Of The East. Certainly, the only country that could field a 200 million man army. Interesting theory mud, but just that, there are many theories on the prophesies of Daniel and the revelation, I have presented mine, and you have presented a web sites, just out of curiosity , whats yours?

  Sorry for the delay in responding. I was out of town. After reading most if not all of the literature that is offered on www.thetrumpet.com and looking up and reading all of the scripture references, it is my belief that these folks have it right. Having said that, I only believe the bible. The saying goes, you only follow a man as the man follows Jesus. We certainly have access to what Jesus said, so anything that disagrees with Him must be incorrect. Jesus said there would be teachers of righteousness, our job is to find them.
