3 years is hardly a difference at all in most cases, but the exact age does matter a little. If a 30 year old gets with a 40 year old, it's not a huge controversy. If a 20 year old gets with a 10 year old, its an issue.
So if you were like 12 and he's 15, it's arguably wrong.

Too large a gap can be wrong, however im 16 and my bf is 24.to start off with ppl thought it was a bit strange but we both love each other and he respects me for who i am.all our friends have accepted it and we have no problems. i think it really depends on the age gap and if you care enough ot make it work.if you truley loe someone u love them for who they are and you want your time togethor to work

age doesnt matterVoted for by pnktrky.
the problem is that some guys like to take advantage of younger more naive girls because they arent smart enough to get one there own age. thats why when the age difference is more than a year (in school still) i think the motives should be clear whether they plan to use you or actually are thinking of a lasting relationship. but personally age is not relative motives are what matter. the question here is not whether what you did was wrong because of the age but was it wrong because of the motives.

Correct.
As a girl/boy gets older, the age difference becomes more acceptable. For instance, if my 14 year old friend decides to hook up with my 17 year old friend, I'll object because she's too young to be running with the big-boys (more life-experience is needed to cope with the stress of acting like a 17-year-old when you haven't matured that much yet). However, say my 27 year old friend is with a 40-something-odd friend, I find it acceptable because, one, she's over eighteen and can't be told what to do, and two, she has enough life experience to manage.trappedinthisworld

Correct?
Yes but then basiclly are you saying that its ok for a 27 year old to go out with a 90 year old? Because if she really loved him well ok but when he dies she's going to be heart broken.Weydon
