Ive read before that excessive scab picking is part of self injury. Is it or isnt it? Where is the line drawn between just weird and injury oneself? Its more of an ethical question.

sorry... it dependsVoted for by PutsABandAidOn.
It depends. If you pick at your scabs so that you feel pain, then yes it is a form of self injury. However if you pick them just for something to do, then no it isn't. (I once met a boy who would pick his scabs so he could chew on them, THAT is weird!)

Ethics...Voted for by rockys8r.
Yes, it is a world of ethics to actually be able to answer this one, but I will try to answer this one the best I can.. I personally have done self injury towards myself (Yes, I have tried multiple times to kill myself) I never even heard that pulling off scabs of old injuries would actually be considered as self injury. I dont pull scabs off for just the pain... Well actually I do, but then again... I am a type masticus (Forgive my spelling).. Just to see how much pain I can handle
