Is justice in the eye of the beholder, or that of conformity, or a judge, or God?
Can opinions be wrong?

a tricky subject. when it comes to deciding what should happen to a person who murdered someone you have to remember not to put your self in the shoes of the parents or loved ones of the victim but to serve justice and make him pay to the fullest extent without going to far. justice is in the eye of the beholder such as beauty is. i could think a flower is beautiful and you could think it is ugly just as i could think the death penalty on a murder trial is justice when you only think he or she should go to jail for what they did. it is up to the person.

Stated below...Voted for by Dead Kennedy Rolls.
Justice IS in the eye of the beholder, but, this does not make it a correct belief. To the majority, justice is what they believe, and is therefore correct… so, justice is both in the eye of the beholder and in the majority. But we should try to set our standards against God’s so that we have something to comapare it to… in the words of robert dubovy: ” i judge them against my personal instincts and emotions and mix in a little personal experience….. for i believe that God gave me those things for that very purpose…...” but, this does not mean that one should follow the “popular crowd,” although it is easier. one should follow their instincts and morals, given to them by God. And, finally, belief can mean you are wrong just as this statement might be.

U can bye justice... good lawersVoted for by Corbin Raven Moon.
i think if we don't get them in the end god will anyway. so why do things that would need judgement. although i see no problem in capital puinshment i think that to me is justice to extreme crimes. but i know that isn't in some others eyes. i know it is wrong for me too think this. who is to decide whether some one lives or dies. i stay with what i just said. Don't cause the bother and commit crimes that open disscussions on this sorta thing. spare us the thought please.

On The Death PenaltyVoted for by PerfectStranger.
We are studying the death penalty in my Government class in school right now. We weighed the pros and cons of it and we’ve had to start writing a paper over it too now. Here is my view on the whole thing:
I think the death penalty should be given to anymore who diliberatly committed murder. If they were willing to sacrifice another person’s life for death, they should be willing to do so for themselves also. Some things I can understand though… like if you accidentally killed someone in a car accident, but if your intentions were to kill then you should be killed. Also on the types of execution… I think that the person who committed the murder should die the same way that the victim did. We need to get rid of electricution, lethal injection, cyanide gas.. etc.. we need to start executing the murderer the same way they murdered their victim.

my views
to begin with justice is more a matter of opinion in general so I belive that yes justice is in the eye of the beholder for to many people have several diffrent views on what justice should be. never have I seen someone completely satisfied when justice is served in any form or fashion.
