If anyone is familar with history, particulary from AD 1 to present, Christ is the subject hence AD means Anno domini (year of our Lord).
So what if God didn’t send His Only Begotten Son down to earth? Well then, the Roman Empire would’ve succombed to its fate as it did or lasted longer which is the more likely. The Barbarians would’ve plundered Rome, make it their home and not the Christian priests and pope living there. Since Christ never went down, then the so-called Dark Age (AD 400-1100) would probably be much longer, probably a millenium, OR the Mongols or the Turks would’ve conquered Europe, then they would’ve been conquered and back and forth. So, there be wars upon wars upon wars until someone finds out how to create a nuclear bomb and destroy this world to bits.
Now you got to ask yourself this question: Why hasn’t God let some terrorist get his hands on a nuke (when there is a certain possibility that they could have) and start firing which will trigger ours and probably Russia’s and boom-boom?
Disaster is always around us. What are some alternate realities you picture if Jesus hadn’t come or been noticed?

The dark ages were largely a result of the complete domination of the peasantry by the feudal nobility and their cronies the imperialist church… they were dark because christian moralists (fuckwit messianic conservatives like Bush today) held complete sway over all possibilities for learning… millenium hysteria was stirred by the hideous church… jesus brought such moral authoritarianism and that lack of epistemological light to those unfortunate ages. Though the dark ages did produce some of the more imaginative sacral art to the world- a wonderful procession of ideological works didactically depicting that christian notion of anti-life, judgement day. Christianity is responsible for helping to justify countless acts of historical genocide on indigenous peoples across the ‘colonial’ world. In the name of a farcical ‘truth’, it has wiped out an unfathomable wealth of ‘heathen’ culture… i can’t believe anyone today could be naive enough to be a fucking christian.

If Jesus hadn’t been born (notice how I didn’t say come) then there wouldn’t have been stories writen about a really nice guy who wanted everyone to treat each other better. The sad part about it is that Jesus wasn’t the first or last person to die for what they believed but we only hear about him. What about all the religious exicutions going on all over the world right now? All these people have died for their beliefs just as Jesus did. So in the last 2000 years nothing has really changed. So you ask what would be different if Mary and Joseph had never met and procriated? nothing. We’d be right where we are now, religious perspectives would be different and someone else would probably have claimed to be the son/daughter of god.

Well there are many possible answers to that 1. Nukes are very expensive and require a lot of time, energy and research. (What makes you think they arent getting their hands on one right now) 2.Not all terrorists are stupid, they know the minute a nuke is fired, they’ll be gone too, then who will be left to learn their message? Chances are someone who has to resort to violence just so let people know their oppinion on something are cowards and don’t want to kill themselves. (Suicide bombers don’t count, they’ve been brainwashed) 3. To every action there is a reaction. People are terrorists for a reason. Perhaps they have a lack of options in how they get their message out, or maybe they’ve been brainwashed… but then who’s doing the brainwashing? obviously that person would have to get really mad at something, someone, or someplace to spend all of his/her time, money and energy convincing people to become terrorists. 4. A “terrorist” to you could be a hero to their own people. We use the word terrorist too easily. A terrorist could also be confused with a revolutionary, it all depends on how you look at it.
note – I am not condoning terrorism, I am simple asking you to look outside the box and try to see a different perspective, I bet some of Jesus’ followers could have been classified as terrorists now adays.

Heh… I doubt anything horrible would’ve happened at all. He was just a man. He was a very INFLUENTAL man, but just a man nonetheless. The stories, I believe, came AFTER his time. As for history… I doubt it wouldn’t have gone quite so bad without him. Now, let’s say, a whole SOCIETY had an uproar, like North America not being invaded. Yeah, BIG difference. But the Jesus thing? I think history would’ve gone the same just about, with less Religious crap and no Christians. More jews, and no World War II.

You make no sense you talk about how there would be war upon war if Jesus had never existed but there has been war after war actually in the name of Jesus Christ so what’s your point? In reality there would most likely have been less wars and probably less misery through the ages if Jesus hadn’t existed, and I’m pretty sure the Dark Ages was from the 5th to the 10th century but realistically from the time humans came to be to nowadays its been the Dark Ages. And I’m sure the worlds most dangerous terrorist George Bush will soon cause nuclear war all in the name of Jesus Christ.

Man God of the spark is what they called him; An African or descendant of people from upper Ejypt who came on the scene with a pagen style of worship and a universal way of thinking. Had he not came then ther would still be people out there who are blind; who do not have eyes to see, ears to listen. People would still be forged in a orthidox way of living and the whole world would be under Roman control. The Palpacy may have succeeded in hiding the Knowledge but not the truth. I believe the spiritual movement made throughout the written and unwritten Bibles made the difference in how we see things now and had the man they called Jesus hadn’t come the time may had come much to late for the truth to ever be explored.
