Is there really only God, you guys? Or are there the Norse Gods?

Norse Gods...Voted for by NotAllTearsAreAEvil.
I believe in the NOrse Gods... It just seems more likely for there to be more than one God and Goddess than just one friggin' God, don't you think?

Hmmm...Voted for by cedavis8.
I think there might not even be gods at all. science is cool and it has proof of everything. thats much better than making up some sort of higher being.

Only OneVoted for by Khadidja the Wise.
The ancient Romans and Greeks had many Gods and Goddesses because it is hard to believe in the Almighty. However, I believe that "All Goddesses are One Goddess and all Gods are One God" (as found in the Mists of Avalon). Perhaps it is easier or more soothing to believe in many deities, because the thought of someone, who is all-powerful can be scary. But however we twist it: "All are One", so there is only One True God.

all knowing
I have a problem with the thought of Norse Gods for one simple reason, why does Odin require 2 ravens to fly around to all nine of his universes to tell him what is happening if he created all things why isn't he all knowing?Kazrith

But
If it is not all knowing you are rolling the dice when you pray to it. For the ravens may hear you or they may be somewhere else. The religion states that there are 9 universe and only 2 ravens. And they fly from one universe to the next. So what does that give you an 18% chance of the god even hearing it. my math is no good but you get the point.Kazrith

wrong but that's another debate
And I didn’t say answer I said hearing. But it’s off topic anyway. Ok my Idea of God and that of most Christians is that God is Infinite, Ok in the Norse Gods; Oldin created all other Gods and if part of God is that he is infinite then how could a God be created?Kazrith

I dont think so Weydon
"Technically, modern science seems to assume the universe is infinite but also believes in the likelihood of alternate dimensions with their own infinite universes." You are incorect on this one The universe can be dated by the amount of time it takes to expand from itself and by that can be traced back to a begining. So by that itself the universe can not be infinateNotAllTearsAreAEvil
