Homosexuality is nurture, not nature!

    in response to the nazi germany choice: its not so much that america is leaning to a post-holocaust scenario by banning homosexual marriage as it is a means of controlling. the marriage ban only does that: bans marriage between people of the same sex. it really has nothing to do with right wing christians conspiring with republicans. its not even a dispute between any political party because both sides disagree with it. christians have always been "in power".

    over the years christians have become more tolerant of homosexuality, i'll give them that. but i highly doubt that just because they've decided they're going to fight same-sex marriage doesnt mean they're going to take such hitleresque actions and move into violent measures.

    this amendment is just a way for them to "protect" their rights. whatever they think the homosexuals have that they need to protect marriage from is beyond me but let them do what they wish. the amendment will only set america back. we've gone from having slavery, to freeing them, to denying women's rights, to having some of the highest political icons be female. and now we've come all this way to cause national dispute over people who give a damn about eachother wanting to get married? woo! mature america... real mature. but no matter how closed minded the government and the nation in general becomes, we can all rest assured that gulags and concentration camps for homosexuals is out of the question. just a few gay hate-crimes here and there.

    and in response to homosexuality being a choice: ha! ive debated this far and wide across this site and i dont care how much evidence or lack there of there is to prove or disprove it as being a choice, it is most certainly not. i highly doubt that anyone who has a brain would choose a lifestyle that puts them on a platform setting them up for ridicule of those "normal" people where they are verbally abused, physically hurt, and and in some cases killed for who they happen to have in their beds. call me crazy, but i dont think anyone could confuse a lifetime of being told that you're wrong wrong wrong because you love someone of the same sex with being a positive way of life. unless you were some sort of masocist or something but i suppose to each his or her own.

    people dont choose who they love. its an emotional thing. i find it highly amusing that "fate" and "soulmates" are only chance happenings in heterosexual's lives. being homosexual doesnt expell you from the human race nor does it change the basic finctioning of you brain as far as being able to feel and react on those feelings. love happens. no matter if its found between to men or two women.

    i have friends who have families where there are some important family roles filled by homosexuals. one friend has a grandfather who is gay and 2 uncles who are gay. my friend is straight. at no point in her life was she told to be homosexual or heterosexual - it just happened!

    the truth is there is no evidence whatsoever for either side. there's none except for the people around us: homosexuals and heterosexuals. i have a hard time believing that any and every homosexual or heterosexual would say that they CHOSE to be attracted to whatever kind of person they may be attracted to. why do we need to waste so much time and money on lab testing and scientific studies to figure out whats wrong with a group of people whose lifestyle we dont agree with? we dont sit here and study foreigners from countries who still practice slavery. we dont study those people who believe in polygamy. we dont perform any extensive testing on those who consider beating women to be perfectly natural. those are all things we screech about being so immoral and wrong. yet let the country break down and fall into pieces over homosexual marriage! its an apocalypse i tell you.

    What leads you to the conclusion that choosing to be a homosexual is wrong? You offer no evidence only your opinion. You further concede that there is no good evidence either way. Fine let's say for the sake of dialog that you are right that homosexuality is always chosen. So what then? You still have 10% of the population that are increasingly becoming left leaning and they vote. They believe that the right is out to get them. They also believe that if the Christian right comes into power they will suffer a holocaust as the Jews did. Nether the democrats or the republicans do anything to ease their fears. The dems. Play on those fears.
    They see the republicans getting further and further in bed with the most extreme members of the Christian right. Then they listen to nuts on both sides talk about a amendment to the constution to ban gay marriage.
    They see this amendment as a attempt to ban being gay and the next item on the agenda will be how we will cheaply transport 10% of the population off to the gulag. Now you would be right to say that these are only observations on my part and I am in no way the gay spokesperson. But please somebody prove me wrong! I’m not trying to insult any religion here but I’m seeing this country starting to look like Nazi Germany must have looked like in the 2o's.

    Ok. I will admit that i have been gay my whole life. I knew from the moment i could comprehend that i wasn't what everyone else was, and as i got older i realized that I didn't say " Oh that girls hot, I'd like to tap that ass" or anything of the like. Which is why i say this, you don't choose to be homosexual, you are born that way. The same way people are born black or white, Male or Female.

    And think about this. Some people hate gay people because they're gay, they never give a good reason. I think its because that Gays are different and they don't fit into the cookie cutter image of todays society. Now imagine that the majority of the world is now gay. Would straight people be hated and oppressed as the gays are today?

    It IS nature and NOT nurture. There are many documented cases of documented homosexuality in animals - do they have a choice too? Is there an animal god that is "teaching" them ethics too? Look - why would anyone chose the life of injustice and persecution? You cannot deny the self, you are who you are and if you are gay than that's that. It's not a vice, it's not harmful to anyone, and to those retards writing about how the human body is designed to fit "heterosexually" obviously overlooked the part where a penis fits snugly into an anus as well - ha ha.

  • being gay is just a new fad in my opinion...
    finding a gay person in New York City is very easy...a lot of kids in high school are becoming "gay" or "bisexual" when in reality they have no clue what they are doing...they are not gay because they love the other person they are becoming gay because it is a growing fad...i do not think that being gay is wrong...as i have a gay cousin, and he is absolutely wonderful...i think that being gay results from nurture...some people say they were born gay, but how can they know that if you cant even remember your 1st birthday...you could have figured it out at an early age in life that you were "different" and didn't like the same things as other boys/girls did...it is ridiculous to say you are born anything a rapist, murderer, gay, racist, you are nurtured and learn how to be those things...

    It always is funny to me that the people that are saying that being gay is a choice are the people that are NOT gay and think they've somehow "above the influence" of an addiction or a dangerous behavior! Why don't we have anybody saying "boy I was gay and it was destroying my life, I'm glad I converted to the true sexuality." Can't you see how flawed your perspective is? In nature,you DO have homosexuality occur in animals - "heterosexually designed" body or not - another silly idea. Are these animals CHOOSING to be gay? If so, is there an animal god condemning them too? Even if homosexuality IS a choice, why is it wrong? Because some sheltered and insecure people are afraid that it will "infect" them? It really gets me. The ignorance among us.

It takes a relationship to reproduce and the relationship for reproducing is heterosexuality.     Gay men express their intimacy with fornication. Straight men express their intimacy with sports. Have you seen wrestling? homosexuals (without the sex-- but the physical contact is obviously there). It is just that the culture suppresses men's innate homosexuality.

    I agree with women though. A female bartender told me that the consensus of women was that only 2 out of 10 men are attractive. I would have sex with a very pretty male but 99.999% of men are freakin' ugly in a sexual sense.

  • REASON WILL ALWAYS POINT TO THE HETEROSEXUALLY DESIGNED BODY THAT IT’S FOR HETEROSEXUAL NOT HOMOSEXUAL RELATIONSHIP

    Anything that has a heterosexually designed body is for heterosexual relationship. The kind of sex in any heterosexual relationship does not matter and will not change the relationship to homosexual. Homosexuality is unethical in the sense that the people having sex have bodies that are heterosexually designed which by reason should be for heterosexual relationship. So, a relationship other than the designed intent is tantamount to abuse. In a heterosexual relationship anyone can have the kind of sex that appeals to them as long as the relationship is heterosexual. Homosexuality is unethical and the relationship has been proved to be illogical by reason. Reason, will always point to the heterosexually designed body that it’s for heterosexual relationship and not for homosexual relationship. So, from reason stand point it will always be an illogical relationship. Since it is illogical from reason stand point it fallows that this improvised kind of relationship is tantamount to abuse. Homosexuality is not a stand alone relationship. Clearly, there is nothing evolutionary about this relationship that defies logic and can not survive on its own .
