How we treat death

  • Pain and suffering

Beauty is a difficult thing to find in death. The only place I could possibly imagine is when a person is finally relieved of there pain and suffering. As an after thought if you have "True" faith in God you know that wherever your loved one is going it's going to be a better place than here.

  • A curse?

To call it a loss it selfish, only thinking of YOUR life without them... how they left YOU. To debate about death you would have to understand what becomes of us afterwards to state wether it is a curse or not. Yet we all no it is one thing we are all garanteed.. a promise we've been given and our last ever expieriance on earth, shouldnt that make it special? Does that make it beutiful? Surely everythings beautiful if you look at it in the right way which means the curse is our attitudes see through positive eyes and everything becomes a gift. to see death as a curse is to not fully embrace life for death is a part of life one we cant change..to see it as ugly or a curse would make us fear death and to fear death is to never be able to fully enjoy life.

ugly death not? What are you saying is a beautiful death? Just curious as to how YOU treat death. Your debate does not indicate how you feel about it.

  • How do you forgive death??

Death is not meant and it certainly is not beautiful. Death is defined, as a curse and no curse has beauty, but is only loss.

  • Beautiful
It happens to everyone. It's a natural thing. We treat death delicately for the sole purpose of making ourselves feel better; a velvet lined casket, a gorgeous grave stone, something that strikes a heartstring. People fail to see that the human body is a perfect work of art, a beautiful thing, a natural thing, and that all of its functions are millions of years of trial and error to get to where we are today. Minute changes effect us emensely...We are a delicate organism, even if we can prevent many things. We live in a balance.

Anyhoo, death is natural and should be celebrated, despite the painful loss of a loved one. I have felt this pain, but deep down knew that it was meant to happen. Nature intended it. No amounts of drugs can stop a man from dying. Nature finds a way.

  • death is a curse
Death is an insult and a curse to a self aware concious being. The only emotion to be felt should be rage and anger at the injustice of having our existnce snuffed out.A healthy individual desires to live forever and should find nothing beautiful in death. As you can see I have no belief in an afterlife. You go to sleep and never wake up.

  • Death is a blessing
I think it is only healthful for a person to accept the reality of death and to welcome it when it comes. There is no need to feel anger at something that neither has a conscious mind nor physical body...or even something that simply cannot be stop. Death is, indeed, a sad affair, but at the same time it can be somewhat beautiful. It’s the concept of release after a troubled life, for some; and it doesn’t matter if you’re religious or not. Death is the only true state of peace.

  • There can't be life...
without death and there can't be death without life. Embrace death as much as you embrace life, its all one in the same.
