Partial Birth Abortion

Forget abortion for a second, lets focus on partial birth abortion.


  • Is (at least) Partial Birth Abortion wrong?

    Partial birth abortion is just sick and inexcusable. Where as earlier abortions may be in a grey area in some situations, there’s no excuse for this. It’s sick and disgusting. Fighting for this is like fighting for killing babies. Why not just kill it a week after it’s been born?

  • Most too young to remember but. . .

    About 20 years ago the news announced the latest in scientific discovery; a possible cure for Parkinsons disease through the use of fetal tissue. At the same time they announced a women who having heard of this discovery, I believe she lived in Pennsylvania at the time, deliberately got pregnant in order to abort her baby for the sake of her father who had Parkinsons disease.

    It was while they were reporting this new discovery that they also added that there was just one problem. They really needed to be able to extract a mature babies brain tissue before it was completely dead.

    The moment I heard this my first thoughts were, how are they going to accomplish this and get away with it?

    As I said twenty years ago and enough time for people to forget, not me, they now come up with Partial Birth Abortion. Under the guise of saving a mother’s life and or ridding an imperfect baby they promote this new procedure. I say they found a way to extract the brain tissue of a baby before it dies. They deliver the baby alive and feet first; its little legs kicking and then force scissors up the base of the infants skull and suck out its brains. . . again while alive!!!! And you might ask why? Why do they want to collect the brain tissue? How sick is this. It’s beyond me how anyone can justify such a horrible act. What have we come to in this world that we justify this ugliness. Such monsters who can perform such and act, such cowards who would alow it! Animal rights activist would go nuts at such treatment of animals and yet many support this type of heinous act of killing. Not just killing but torture. Oh, yuck! This makes my stomach turn. Dear God in Heaven.

    Personally, if I were this old man with Parkinsons disease I’d never dream of taking the life of a new born for the sake of my life. If it’s a choice of my life or the babies, I’d choose life for my baby. Just as I’d die for the sake of my children now, I’d die for the sake of their life from their very beginning. As with concern for a deformed child, God’s will be done. Love is love no matter how it comes.

    I think abortions should be done VERY early on, if at all. Partial birth abortions are just too horrible a concept for me. If it can survive on it’s own, it seems too much like murder.

    But I also see dauer’s point of saving the mother. While the child is an innocent, it is so only by lack of experience. The mother is also fairly innocent and probably loved a great deal by many people through EXPERIENCE and not a mere given that happens with babies. If the same situation was prose: If you could only save one, your wife or your week-old child, who do you save?

    It’s just too strenuous an question for me too answer just yet.

  • To remove a risk to the mother's life

    I support it. But I believe the mother’s life should be saved at the first opportunity and not the last, nor even somewhere near the middle. If the mother is at risk she should abort as soon as possible. I can’t think of why this procedure should be frequent with the tools doctors have for forecasting these things. But I place great value on the life of the mother.

  • Partial birth abortion

    Do you have any idea how long the waiting list is for a baby in this country? Do you know how much you could get if u actually birthed adn sold this child. The only time it is even remotley justify able is if the mother is danger of death if she has it. I dont think every abortion is wrong, partial birth abortion, there is only one excuse, and its been stated, once somthing has seen its first glimsp of life from the womb its living, and you become a homicidle sociopath concerned only with yourself, and without any respect for life or the human condition

  • Its fine...

    Its really just a method of population control , which is much needed today. Id prefer they got on the ball sooner with the abortion, but if need be partial birth should still be an option. The only reason we think it is wrong is because we are conditioned to think that.

    What happens when we ban partial birth abortions and the baby is found to be dead? Are we going to make the mother wait and deliver a dead infant at term?

    The problem with banning something like this (most states have VERY strict laws regarding partials) is then it's left up to someone to decide when it's okay and when it's not.

  • Avert Your Eyes, Foul Thing!

    We civilized people are so shielded from the shocking images that most of the world must deal with. We send our young people off to war and on TV we see no partial death abortions, people blown to bits by car bombs. It's all sanitized for us by our wonderful media. After all, how could they possibly put on an ad for meat after showing soldier's and civilian's bodyparts? I mean what would they do with partial birth abortions, show a meat slicer on the operating table serving up some kind of ham sandwich?

    There isn't anything moraly wrong with abortion and it's not asin. God sees no sanctity in human life as many of you do. He killed all of the first born sons of egypt. If that isn't late term abortion, I don't know what is.

    The consideration of extinguishing human life, human potential, or anything human is absurd. And I am absolutely sick of ppl saying "God Aborted the First Born of Egypt..." That's not abortion, that's vengeance.

    In Exodus, all of the new born children of the Israelites are killed (save for one) by the Egyptians... When Moses returns to Egypt later, he warns pharaoh, and God kills this firstborn of Egypt. This was to free his people. Also, keep in mind, it's "firstborn" not "newborn". . . adults were slain as well. So please stop arguing that God would kill innocent children, when he professes to love everyone.

    so there were absolutly no children in egypt at the time? I realy think thats awsome that absolutely nobody in egypt engaged in sinfull fornication for at least ten years before those events. thats totally amazing that all of egypt was able to not have a new generation of children for that long. thats amazing and totaly logical. the bible all makes sense. you’ve made me see the light of god. I think that, no, I know that I’m going to go to church this weekend and maybee I’ll stay the whole week, no, lets make that the rest of my life, I’m gonna become a preist now. Maybe a Chatolic one, they’ve have that whole rape/molestation forgiveness thing going on. Or wait, maybe I should become a baptist, they’re alowed to hang black people, that’s pretty cool and deffinetly a good thing. And their so dedicated to racism. I mean hey, their symbol is a burning cross. I mean that says alot about a persons dedication to hatred in the name of god. Alothough I’m not sure if they’re biggoted enough to fully serve god. I dont know. what do you think I should do. what denomination are you. maybe I should find out what denomination that guy who created manifest destiny was. He helped the united states relize that they needed to murder and subjugate the savage injins or else god wouldnt love them. do you know what denomination that guy was. maybe I’ll become a christian scientis because medicine is the tool of the devil you know. If a baby gets polio and God wants that baby to come be with him then we shouldnt stop him. and HE deffinetly is a him because a woman would be to inferior and stupid to know how to creat a whole universe. although christian scientists have the word science in the name and thats bad. I don’t even need to say anything about why science is a sin. Everyone knows why, even those sinfull scientists. Why do you think scientists keep being scientists when they know that they’ll go to hell? and the same applys to mathematicians. whats up with them and being such big sinners. why do they do it. I mean it says in the bible that knowledge is a bad thing. that’s why we got kicked out of eden in the first place. do you think if you and me could find a way to unteach people that god would let us into the garden of eden. no that wouldn’t be good enough for him. we should burn some books or kill a bunch of “smart” people. well maybe that wont be good enough either. we’ll have to start the crusades again and kill a whole bunch of arabs and maybe some gay people too. we just have to make sure we yell convert or die before we kill them so it’s not considered murder. oh man. that means well have to get soome giant ovens and chemical showers too so we can get the job done quick enough to have time left to enjoy the garden of eden. maybe we can get a grant as a faith based initiative. what am i saying maybe. of course we can get a grant. wow faith in the lord relly keeps a person busy. Here we go again hold on…........................... ................................................. *( wow that evolved smiley took alot longer to kill than the first. It had like a hundred times more blood than the first one. You wouldnt think an extra mouth would have so much blood. I had to go out for paper towels twice for that one. well as I was saying good night and god loves you. but not in a gay way though.
