to bathe or drown?

i was reading the book "no one hear gets out alive" the biograhy of jim morrison.there was a part in it wear is said "to bathe or drown.tell what you think it means

  • Wow yeah Jim Morrison

Well I think we all know he chose to drown. What a guy hey. I love The Doors music so original and powerful.

Bathing in the temptations and experiences of life is to limit your participation in things. Drowning is what Jim himself chose to do he took everything to excess and literally drowned in his own grand exposure to the dangerous and exciting side of life.

  • I think

I would have to know more about the book and to what he was refering. Morison was a strange man, and was hauted by an ediphis complex.

What context was it written in?

Interpretation can't be made based on those words alone.
