What happened to the ufos

When I was a kid I was fascinated by authors who retold odd tails about UFOS and alien abductions. The stories seemed so credible. Yet, later I became a skeptic, knowing how authors wish to sell books and embellish the actual sightings. In the past ten years UFO abductions and sightings are at an all time low. Some UFO watch groups have disbanded. Are any of the UFO stories for real?

  • There were no ufos!

Kmon, if there was life out there they would have talked to us more obviously or destroyed us by now

  • I pick, YES!!!!!

OK! This is MY opinion. Look, I am a total believer. I mean, SERIOUSLY, WHY wouldn’t there be ufo’s and aliens?! Do you honestly think that we’re the ONLY planet with life?! This is my favorite question because my opinion is so strong. I think that there ARE other planets with life. Life that’s WAY more intelligent and far less intelligent. It’s only logical! I also think that we have been visited by e.t.s because there are to many coincidenses. I ALSO think that there are planets with VICIOUS life forms (even Earth had them, i.e. Hitler) and VERY KIND life forms. Heh, this is my opinion.

  • I'm a sceptic
when it comes to UFOs, i'm a bit sceptical. most UFO sightings turn out to be hoaxes or something explainable, so i don't jump immediately to the alien conclusion, a lot of strange things happen in our sky without being from another planet.

however, i do believe that life exists on other planets. maybe not in our solar system, but somewhere. it's a big universe. would God have built it and not made use of all of it? would you build a scyscraper and only use one room of it? even if you don't believe in God, it's pretty arrogant to think that out of the billions of stars out there we are the only inhabited planet.

  • UGFs are gone to Iraq

UFOs are gone; they are no longer a fashion they are now replaced with War on Iraq and WMD...etc. Tomorrow they will come back when the war ends and till we find other reasons to forget them and son on ...etc Napoleon once said, the easiest nation to control is an ignorant nation, and I would say: ”the easiest nation to control is a nation that believes in UFOs”.

  • We don't know enough to say

UFO's? Yes, there are many planets out there. Have they discovered space travel? Does any know of the Marconi theories? I live in the south east Oregon desert. It connects w/ Nevada. There are people here who have been out in the BFE regions of my county who have interesting stories. There have been many substantiated sightings all over the world. But that gets us no closer to the answers What are they? From where? Who is in them?(if any) Why are they here?

I think that a lot of the 'Phenomena' authors are just trying to sell their books, but all the same i have seen and read far too much to discredit the entire UFO ideas.
I believe that either they are made by our government, and that they are kept from the general population's knowledge, or else they are indeed from another planet far off. Due to the Drake Equation, it seems pretty likely that there is other life out there. The problem would be to travel as far as they must come. They would have to have a time machine. However, there are other theories that have other explainations about UFO's about how they come from different dimensions. All of that i don't know enough about.
But there is WAY too much evidence to say that they flat out don't exist.

  • UFO=GOD
UFOs are just another attempt to be awed by the mysterious source of all intelligence, love and power.

There are so many ways. There is religion, science, art, music, etc.

Mythological Religion works for the majority of people, especially the uneducated.

Science is also a religion. I don't see how scientist can say things like the universe has a trillion stars or say that the building block of material things is an atom that is 99.999% empty space without being flabbergasted. If they can't see God in that, then really they can't be that smart.

And of course there is Art. You can find God in paintings, music and movies. Anything with the power to move you is God working. Haven't you ever cried hearing a piece of music or reading a poem or seeing an object? What's making your emotions pour out? The Mystery is.

UFOs are for a niche group a means to return to God. A return to the Grand Mystery in life that they are not getting from literature, science, religion or art. The important factor is whether they get that feeling. That feeling of the Great Unknown that leaves them with awe and a desire to inquire further.

  • What happened?
People stopped filming garbage bin lids suspended in the air by a piece of string because eventually they discovered that advancements in technology were able to uncover their backyard antics.

  • People see UFO's all the time
If I saw an airplane, but could not tell that it was an airplane, and wasn't sure of it's identity, then I just saw an Unidentified Flying Object, didn't I?

  • Nope

The US government declassifies all information after 20 years. It was during the Clinton administration when all of that Roswell, New Mexico stuff was declassified. What was being tested in New Mexico looking like a UFO, because it was an unidentified flying object. It was a craft that was capable of sustaining itself without moving forward, up, down, or backwards. This craft is what we call the B52 Stealth Fighter. It was designed to maintain stable in the air, computerized. When people saw the testings of it they captured them and basically told them to tell no one. They used certain uniforms to cover up their identity. The few that reported the sightings thought they had seen something from comic books, aliens.

When you look at the suits they used, they take the same shape as the aliens they drew, although none of the physical features. The eyes were probably coming from the glasses they used upon observing them. They are skeptical because for the first time the American government came out and denied the existence of any UFOs on Earth.
