    doesnt the return of christ herald the end of the world? well i donno if buddha is the same but i wouldnt want to be responsible for the end of the world.

    Buddha. I would love to reach that spiritual level one day. To reach enlightenment, ultimate love, and to just have a small fraction of knowledge of what he must've known would be awesome. Wasn't meditation supposed to be a major role in helping him acheive these things? I have trouble meditating, but it would be no problem if I were the Buddha! Huummm...

    Because as another said, this would herald the end of the world, meaning there is a God; one can reach the level of Buddha on his or her own, its a bit more difficult to become God.
