Can You Be Honest, even if it is against our best personal interest?

    Yes. I've been screwed so bad that I prefer ANY truth over complicated lies, no matter how much prettier they are. Truth is truth, and it's going to come out anyway. I think you make it easy for yourself by not even starting with lies.

    Theres a difference between honesty and complete nakedness. A human being ALWAYS have secrets, or parts of them they do not wish to reveal to everyone immediately. Its a layer you wear around you. Your boy friend certainly does not need to know EVERYTHING about you, nor should he wish to. Honesty is being truthful to him. If there is something you'd rather not talk about, just say so, or just touch the surface of it. Only go deep as you would allow. "But I love him" doesnt mean you need to share every single detail of your life. Even married folks of many years will have reserve parts of them.

    If you feel like sharing that particular part of your life, do so, if not, thats not a bad thing.

  • Yes -Honesty is the best Policy

    Honesty ,is and will always remain the best policy.Whether we like it or not...the results have to be long term and not the temporary short term leeways that we so make,for ourselves by being dishonest. We are answerable to ourselves and to no one else.

If you are fat, don't kid yourelf that you look good in a bikini. of you are bald, dont buy a toupee- They never look natural. if you have a big nose, don't try to hide it with makeup- it will just make you look like Tammy Faye Baker with a big nose. If you don't make a lot of money, live within your means. Don't borrow money you can't pay back just to buy something that makes you look richer than you are. The jig will be up when the repo-man cometh.

    in short, be who you are. chances are nobody else wants the job.

  • Is it possible to be completely honest?!

    I love my boyfriend more than anyone ever, ok. Well, why is it so hard for me to be completely honest with him and tell him everything? He wants to know everything about me and my past, and I just want to scream it to him. Nothing ever comes out. Am I scared?! Why can’t I tell him exactly what I want to be said?
