Do you think it is possible to walk on water?

When i go to australia this Christmas, i am going to attempt to walk on the water on my grandma's pool. i think i am going to in fact, do it, but i want your opinions anyway.

  • Wow

Well first question, why only your Grandma's pool in Oz? Why not a lake or river near to you.

Second, What miraculous powers do you expect to use? Other than the power of custard.

    Third, Why?

Good luck let us know how you get on.

  • Hmm.
The Jesus Lizard I think lives in Australia, actually. I don't know, some where tropical. This lizard can get up on its hind legs and RUN ATCHA. You don't want to be tripping on any sort of drug when THAT happens. o.O Anyway, the lizard can walk on water because it's really light, has big ol' webbed feet, and it has good control over its quick motions and is precise with its contact with the water.

I'm not saying to drink a red bull, strap on some scuba flippers, and attempt this, but hey, if you don't jump you'll never know if you can fly, as Miranda Lambert would say.

  • No Longer Possible
Jesus was able to walk on water because at that time most of the world was at a magical worldview. The collective consciousness allowed it then. Today, however, with science and empiricism ruling consciousness, walking on water is no longer possible. I believe Jesus was indeed able to walk on water, literally, not that he was the son of God, but rather because he attained the highest stage of consciousness which was an out of body experience which was able to manipulate the lower consciousnesses.

  • Interesting.
It is indeed possible that you could walk on water but the conditions must be pretty specific. Obviously, if the water is frozen it will be crossable. Aside from that and divine providence, I suppose that a perfect alignment of the water molecules at 90 degree angles with respect to the unpaired electrons and hydrogen atoms could form such a massive amount of hydrogen bonds that the surface tension would be increased significantly. And high salt contents could give it greater buoyancy which would be of help. So, best of blessings on you in your quest. Tata.
