When parents deny Bisexual/gay children and do it in the name of religion isn't that being judgemental?

If you are BiSexual/Gay and your parents deny or don't want you in the family isn't that putting down the religion? Aren't Christians suppose to love everyone no matter how they are ? Isn't the human race suppose to accept each other ? Why do parents/family members deny and don't want anything to deal with the Bisexual/Gay person ? Don't you think this is wrong of them to do and judgemental?

  • The way it is.
As the saying goes; love the sinner, hate the sin. I would suppose that the reaction of the parents is due to their inability to cope with the situation, which is opposite to their beliefs. I am sure that they would be saying to themselves; " how could this happen to our child?" Denial is easier than coping. As a professing Christian, I believe that (if it comes up in conversation) it is my responsibility to explain God's way, but not to try to change anyone. Only God can do that. (Joh 6:44 No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day. )
