Maybe it's me, but what are friends for?

is it possible to have 2 bestfriends?
is it ok to tell your bestfrind secret to your other best friend or significant other?
how you know when you have a real freind?
and how do you know wheather or not you not being played in a game of minipuplation?
PLz give me your idea about friends, the meaning and the whole nine yards.

  • Best Friends
    You can have a lot of best friends but for some reason people think that everything needs a ranking. Your Friends are not competing with each other to shine in the light with you, you should be trying to keep them there. Ranking your friends is selfish and just a little Egosentric.

    and as for secrets, if someone tells you a secret that they wish you to keep to yourself, you do just that. a secret is a basis of trust between two friends, and if you go and start gabbing about it, the friend cannot consider you a good friend because, basically, they cannot trust you.

    take the secret to the grave.

    unless it is a plot to harm someone or harm oneself, then it should be your moral obligation to tell.

    friends are people that know you enough to tell you when your just bull-shitting yourself (pardon my language to any MOD's, or easily offended people)...

    and besides that the are people who know you well, but, for some inexplainable reason, like you anyways...

    the difference between a friend and a bestfriend is that a friend is really only an acquaintance, but a bestfriend you feel you are on the same level with and you only need to think of them as a friend.

    if youre being manipulated, cut them off. but be sure first. if you think youre being manipulated, look into the matter further before you decide anything.

    there is no such thing as a real friend, same as a bestfriend. there are only friends. you know when you relax every barrier you have when you are around them. a friend you keep a secret against is on the way out.

  • What is fun for?
    It is always in terms of a condition. The condition being mental stability. Friends produce social commune and thus allowing one to exploit sexuality, comfort, happiness eg forms of shared gratification that enhances one (seemingly) so that it becomes an underlying craving.

  • Friends and secrets
    Proverbs tells us how to be a true friend. It also leans toward two being one. Husband and wife are auto-matic confidantes to one another. Marriage is the binding of two friends into one flesh and mind. If you tell your buds one thing and say it is a secret, you should expect them-if they are married- to feel free to tell their significant other.

    Best thing is do not tell secrets at all.
    Personal matters and matters of the heart are not to be related to friends, but rather related to council.
    Most secrets are of a negative nature and most likely are secret because they stem from something negative or dis-honest.

    Temporal secrets are usually okay. These are secrets such as, "Don't tell Billy about his surprise birthday party, okay?"

    ETHICS QUESTION: Is this the right kind of secret or is this wrong?

    "She is dying of cancer, but because she has a severe learning dis-ability, we just don't tell her the upsetting, confusing truth. Instead we just tell her, take your medicine and the pain will be all better."

  • friends...
    on the surface friends are pointless, the poeple you get drunk with, go out with, have a laugh, that hurt you. all theese things are true are friends but a true bestfriend is someone who you can turn to when you need help. that is there for you when you need someone. a bestfriend is someone who you love so much you would die for them. i say this out of experience without a certain person who in fact is not my friend anymore practically saved my life, if it wasn't for her i don't want to know what i would of done. the fact we are no longer is irrelevent(srri can't spell) in the sense that it still happened and she still did what she did for me and i will never forget it or her. i will always love her no matter what and recently she was in trouble and she came to me and i did what i could for her. so even though we broke friends and hated each other for a while it just proves that true friendship is undying and lifesaving. if you get it don't lose it you might need someday.)btw i'm not doin the sympathy emo thing as it may look it is simply an example to prove my point.)
