Horoscopes...who believes them?

I don't believe them but....

I find it funny how they usually are very vague when giving details. Why vague?? Because being vague means it applies to LOTS of individuals.

  they belong two thousands of individuals if you want a less vague why dont you get a personal one that goes all the way to the time of your birth.

  I think that most of the time horscopes are really not true...because there are so many KINDS and so many of us out there..I mean come on shrugs...I just don't see how it can be really true but that's just me.

Like you said, it's all just pretty general. Every other day it's about money. Every other day it's about love. Randomly they'll throw in "new situations". Every single time it will advise being cautious but a little daring, or a little daring but being cautious. It's all just generalized nonsense.

If it happens, much less often than general predictions SHOULD oddly enough, your eyes will light up and go "My horoscope DID say something about that!". The other 28 days of a month, when you read it you'll go "hmmmm" and foreget about it.

Also like you mentioned, millions of people were born during that one period of time. We all have the same thigns happening to us? Simply knowing many people of the same sign implies knowing it didn't come true.

Try going a couple of months reading a different sign's horoscope, even the overall facets of what that sign means. I'm sure in your own sign you've gone "Well, I am a little passionate...but not aggressive, but whatever I'll ignore that....". It will be the same in other signs. You'll identify some traits, especially flattering ones, and attribute the other ones to OTHER people of that sign who got what you didn't.

Also, try reading every horoscope a day. You'll see similarities even in the same day often times.

Who believes them?

Personally i don't believe them, it's just not possible for the horoscope to be right for the millions of people who read it. Even if it is, it'll be something that's a bit obvious, like meeting a tall dark stranger. Like duh, how many tall dark strangers are there in the world?
Yeah but forget about what i said. I want to hear what everyone else thinks...

Personal horoscopes can sound amazingly accurate, which leads to belief in them (Mine have appeared uncanny). Professional Astrologers charge a lot of money for full horoscopes so they have to put some effort in, unlike the ones you read in a glossy mags. As you said though how can it be right for millions of people, although we are similar in lots of ways and I know people who fit their horoscopes precisely. My closest friends are the zodiac signs that have been suggested I am most likely to get along with, quite spooky really. Astrologers dont just sits down and make it up as they go along they have a system they should stick to. Whether they should be offering people readings like this is another matter.

I really don't think that the alignment of stars and planets, millions and billions of miles away, has any bearing on anything I might say or do.

Actually, Mudgod is correct, but...
The Bible says that they do relate to us in general terms and also relate to, worldly as well as Heavenly events.
God also warns against applying readings to individuals, because they are so superficial. Which leads to a loss of self control and free choice.
The Bible also points out the dawning of the age of Aquarius.(the water age)
The day Jesus ascended into Heaven was precisely the first day of the age of Pisces(The fish or the beginning of the Fishers of men age.)
We are about to go into the age of Cancer. Which is a bad age at it's beginning but becomes better with time(1000years). Then we start over again with the age of Gemini(The age of the twin brothers or the age that was upon us, when Caan slew Abel.)You may note, that the constellation of Gemini is of one brother sleying his other.
Precisely to the day, the Hebrews made a golden calf and worshipped it in the wilderness, was the age of Taurus rising(age of the bull). They did not just grab it out of thin air, to worship a Golden cow. They were following Egyptian Astrology and an Egyptian god ceremony at a time when Egypt would be doing the same thing.
EDIT: We could also point out, that the astrological wheel is painted on the ceiling in the Vatican in Rome. The proper way it was intended, with Gemini at twelve o'clock and scorpio at 6 o'clock.
MORE EDITing: Remember what happened to Saul, when he began to seek advice from the witch? He lost control of all things good and began to make bad choices, completely based on individualized astrology and eventually lost all control and his life.
Ironically or not, Saul means; Asked of God(Godly Council). Saul did the opposite of his namesake and asked council of men.

the egyptions thats more like 5000 years, were the first to use the horoscope. remember this stuff is like very astrologicit kinda makes you wonder if there was some ppl before them.
