I give it a hundred years, but if not, ill ask this to be general,

  • 300 years from now, will 'god' still exist?
I say no, but i dont want to give my well thought out logical conclusion. I want to see what other people think with no thoughts that may be altered due to my opinion.

there will always be a human need to believe that all this, their existance isnt a flucke of nature. so to pull up their egos they have God the supreme being make them. so in that thought jprossess it will never disapear. but the general ideas of God might change.

Sociologists thought religion would already be near-extinct, but it seems to be strogner than ever. The amount of atheists and agnostics are increasing, but not at very impressive rates.

Your confusing two different concepts god and religion.

Religion is mans attempt worship the way he thinks god would want him to.
    God transcends religion.

Religion hates all things different from itself.
    God loves.

    Religion says I am right.
    God says I am.

Religion says do things my way or you are an abomination
God says come on to me ALL who are weak and heavy burdened for I will give you rest.

Religion gives you the book of Leviticus.
God gives you 10 simple rules to follow. Rules that most of which you are already following.

    Religions come and go.
    God is.

  • Huh?
    HCBSA experience06,
Sorry, but your post is confusing. Are you asking whether the concept of God will still exist amongst the human race in 300 years or whether God, in an ontological sense, will exist in 300 years? These are very different questions, and until you untangle your post, it remains incoherent to me.
    Hope you fix this up,
    K. F.
