Decisions of Success

These phrases of wisdom were written by an author/comedian named [Andy Andrews] in a book called The Traveler’s Gift.

I do not claim any of this at all, but felt that I should share it.

There is more to each decision,

The First Decision: The buck stops here. I will not let my history control my destiny.

The Second Decision: I will seek wisdom. God moves mountains to create the opportunity of His choosing. It is up to you to be ready to move yourself.

The Third Decision: I am a person of action. Many people move out of the way for a person on the run; others are caught up in his wake.

The Fourth Decision: I have a decided heart. Criticism, condemnation, and complaint are creatures of the wind. They come and go on the wasted breath of lesser beings and have no power over me.

The Fifth Decision: Today I will choose to be happy. Our very lives are fashioned by choice. First we make choices. Then our choices make us.

The Sixth Decision: I will greet this day with a forgiving spirit. You will find that God rarely uses a person whose main concern is what others are thinking.

The Seventh Decision: I will persist without exception. Reason can only be stretched so far, but faith has no limits. The only limit to your realization of tomorrow is the doubt you hold fast today.

    I didn't think the God bit necessarily needed to be in there (I hate it when people pull it out unnecessarily).

    Hi Friends...just came across this and wanted to share it with u all...
    The moment one definitely commits oneself, then providence moves too. All sorts of things occur to help one that would never otherwise occurred. A whole stream of events issues from the decision, raising in one's favor all manner of unforeseen incidents and meetings and material assistance which no man could have dreamed would have come his way. Whatever you can do or dream you can, begin it. Boldness has genius, power and magic in it. Begin it now!

    I love that one. To me knowledge is knowing only but wisdom is when you learn to take your knowledge and put it into action.
