Relationship and Sexuality

I have noticed that people seem to think that sexualities (ie homosexuality, bisexuality, heterosexuality, asexuality) and relationship are interchangable words.

what i want to know is your definition of the meaning of these words and why you think they are interchangable.
  • They are not
Relationship refers to a bond between people, whereas sexuality is a state of being. Sexuality is something that connot be changed (unlike relationships).

  • SEXUALITY MEANS INVOLVING SEX
The noun homosexuality has one meaning:

Meaning #1: a sexual attraction to (or sexual relations with) persons of the same sex

it is sexual relation that involves persons of same sex. The sexual relationship is described as homo.

The prefix homo means same or like.
So, homosexuality is a sexual relationship as the defination says.

Sexuality means involving sex.Thats the reason why (homosexuality, bisexuality, heterosexuality, asexuality) are refered as sexualities. They all involve sex.

A relationship is a connection. In these relationships the connection is sex. Sexual is the adjective that describes the connection and sexuality is the noun that defines the relationship.

    sex is a relationship.

Homosexuality is a relative term.It takes at least two people of the same sex who have a relationship that is sexual to constitute it.

So, homosexuality can be refered as a relationship
