Read the above Article. Do you think that the world is in danger ?
It looks like a lot of important world events with weather and everything could come up soon.
Do you think it can happen or do you think that the world will just go on as it is ?

    whether global warming is happening is never the question. the question is its effects on our lives and that of all life on earth. simply put the earth may be big but its so complex and like any ecosystem sensitive to the changes ofcourse this is a problem. good thing is that we are soon going to have to stop the green house emissions mainly by force considereing that any year now we will be at the peak of petroleom. better said the energy source for our entire global society is a nonrenewable resource that soon we will figure out will come true whether we want to or not. and thats when we will be forced to have to use some other source of energy. ofcourse we never think of that because its the basis of the entire global economy. when this starts to happen we are going to have a rude awaking. that is what society today should be focusing on, but that would mean that we would actually be prepared for something earth changing and why would we want to do that.

  • Warmer and wobblier
    The Earthquake that caused the tragic tsunami off the Indian coast, has been determined responsible for a minuite increase in the Earths equatorial wobble. This up and down wobble is slower than the 24 revolutions of day and night and wobbles up and down every two weeks or so.
    It is not a coincidence, that here where I live the cold weather also wobbles slightly up about 2 degrees, for two weeks and then even colder for the next two weeks.
    Been watching this on the news and on my own, in my local area. Sure enough, it wobbles in and out of warmer and colder weeks, for well over a year now. Just a personal observation and not necessarily fact.

    Bible and Jesus 2000 and 4000 years ago, described the future and global warming, as well as, increased natural disasters, violent weather and larger, more frequent earthquakes.

  • Global warming or no global warming...that is the ?
    I'm sorry but there just isn't enough proof to conclude GLOBAL warming. Record high temps.? That could simply be because of the large cities. With in large cities the temp is higher than out in the contry, because of human activities such as airports. In the past, cities were much smaller and did not have the effect on higher temps. than we do now in much larger cities. But just because the cities are warmer does not mean there is GOLBAL WARMING. I know it doesn't stop at the city limit sign but does it really go all over the globe?

    I belive something is happening...maybe global warming is putting a name to it? In Wisconsin there was not snow until early January where and when brown christmas's are rare. But is that because of a cycle of globe heating displacement? Or are we really making that much of a differnce to our earth? I agree there is a lot of added CO2 in the air because of the human race (oil industies have put a lot of money into hiding what they release into the atmosphere), but are the ice caps really melting? When you look at an ice berg take note that you are seeing only 1/10th of it, most of it is underneath the water. Besides, people can see when the ice is melting...it falls, clumbing to the water in an avalanch type movement. But how can you really tell that it actually freezing back? That process is not nearly so darmatic. And very hard to measure.

    Look i belive Global warming is Possible, but i would need more proof to agree....

    look, it shouldn't matter about amount of evidence
    or if its our fault
    the fact is there is a risk

    if you are willing to bet every human,animal and unborn life on the planet on hoping its not true then we truly are in bad shape and probably don't deserve life.
    especially one that has been quoted by all parties to be between 25-90 percent chance of the reality of it and that its human caused

    well thats a mighty risky bet with nothing but material wealth to gain with every species on the table
