Euthanasia (can anyone spell here?) is the the killing of somebody who wants to die. Several cases fo it have been brought up. What are your views and opinions on euthinasia?

It’s sad but some people would choose it. If I were in a vegetative state I would not want to be kept alive. I would not want to suffer being a paraplegic or anything like that.

I realize that some terminally ill people do not want to suffer. I think that easing their pain would be a humane thing to do. I do not think that anyone who wants to die should be euthanized. Suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary problem. Things could always get better for them. I do not believe that someone who is not suffering should be euthanized for “convenience”. Like the Terry Schiavo thing… I think that doing that is wrong. Life is precious. Until we quit deciding for ourselves that some life is “more important” or “less convenient” than other life we won’t grow as a species.

I believe that Euthanasia is OK for the time being…meaning that it is illegal in some states…if they legalized euthanasia in all states it would be an abused privelege and would become a sort of ‘legal’ homicide.
