Do you think people really have near death experiences or out of body experiences? Is it so hard to believe that when people flat line they see ‘heaven’ or ‘the tunnel’ for a brief second/several minutes?

It has never happened to me, but I volunteered at a Hospice one summer. There were many there who had experienced NDEs They almost all experienced something very similar. So I’d say, yes. They are real experiences.

yes, i do, considering i have had quite a few out-of-bodies. they are not fun, and rather scary. but i don't ever see a "tunnel" or "light". it is just watching my body do things that it normally does for a few seconds, and then i go back and i am really dizzy for a few minutes.

Was there really someone who saw a tunnel or the light or acutally heaven? If not, where do they come up with that kind of stuff? Honestly, what I saw was just myself living on the same world. Distant from everyone, yet still here. I'm a strong believer that this so called "heaven" is acutally here on earth. Perhaps in another dimention, I dont know. But that's just my opinion.

Well, I suppose it would have to depend on what you believe in. I personally don't. If people really have had near death experiences then why is there still questions about heaven and "The Light"? Think about it. If people did have these occurances, why wouldn't they share their knowledge to better the world? It's funny how people argue over such petty things. In the end wrong choices are made from opinions. I really do not believe in this one bit. It's perhaps a murmur of fake hocus-pocus. Till Then, Vixen.

I know someone who died and went to heaven and came back. The reason I believe it is because of the way he lives his reborn life and because he said the reason he came back was that it was so great he wanted to tell people about it so they could go there too with him. The answer surprised me and made absolute sense.

I think I believe too
It's never happened to me either. But i've heard so many stories that i've become somewhat open minded and almost a believer of it. Of course I would believe more if it happened to me. But I wouldn't say it deffinatly doesn't happen really...December 3, 2005

I have had a NDE and believe where you go is more beautiful and far better than where you are now. SO DON'T BE AFRAID TO DIE
