    I believe that history is an important tool to future betterment. I believe that if you don't learn from that which has gone before, you are destined to repeat it.

    Positives: Humans learn from history causing, progress to happen. If we didnt learn from history we would be nothing but animals destined to repeat the same behaviors forever.

    Negatives: We learn "right" from "wrong", how to kill, steal, cheat, lie, ect...

  • Different kinds of history.......?
    I think, there are different kind of history's. There is the book history(written), then we have the verbal history (oral tradition); we also have unknown history, then we have the decipherable history, then we have 'educational' history - u know, one for schools, college and illiterates. One is only for scholars..... and there is the ghost called the Victor's history too.

    All these ghosts and witches of the past will haunt us
    I feel its very difficult to get positives out of these knots of past knowledge.
