You really like a girl/boy, or at least you think you like a girl/boy. You dont know how they feel about you, and you assume they may like you either because they do like you or they are just affectionate people in general. And that happens..trust me...So you think of all the good of you two being together, making up dialoge within your mind that satisfies your emotions of hope of what to come. Then it turns out she/he didnt like you and maybe liked someone else. Well, why are you disappointed? Because nothing in reality satisfied your fantasy. If you never fantasized about something such as that and you just tried to understand whats going on in reality there would be nothing to be disappointed about. Do you see?

hopeif we never hoped for the best, do you think that we would really be where we are today?? if thomas edision gave up when he was inventing the light bulb, do you think we would have light today??100% Voted for by Kazrith, Weydon.
if we dont hope for the best, nothing will change for the best.
if we do, and we find dissapointment on our doorstep, we can move on. a little stronger and a little wiser. but we will always hope that, next time, that cute boy/girl who sits in front of you in biology really does like you the way you like them.

Hope and confidence are not bad. Putting everything into the outcome working out is. Brush it off and do better next time.

i think that we should hope for the best and dream big, but still know that there is a possibility of a let-down. prepare yourself to be hurt and when it happens at least you're ready. some things we just can't change (like whether or not a girl/boy likes us), but some things we can and when it comes to those things (like standing up for what we believe in, in order to make a change in society), we can't take no for an answer... as Westly (in the Princess Bride) once said, "failure is not an option."Please register or login to comment!
