It seems that if you don’t like Bush it means you don’t like America and vice versa. Is George Bush the human equivalent of America?

I’m Canadain and i can tell you that a lot of us are not to fawned of the US. the restrictions due to BSE and the soft wood lumber dispute, the comlumbia river and trade in general ect ect ect. there are many reasons why we dont like the US, but that doesnt mean we dont respect its people. most of us realize that the government is not its people, and the people are what makes a country great, not its government (metaphoricly speaking) times and relations are stressed, but as soon as trade and the insane president is out of office (along with a few governers/senates) Canada might respect the US again.

This question has been asked so often on this site. And time and time again Europeans have said "No they're not the same" so here I go again; I don't dislike America because of George Bush. But I do dislike SOME Americans who are quite internationally arrogant; you know, the type that doesn't know the difference between Germany and The Netherlands. Plus I don't like Bush, so I guess the combination could cause misunderstandings. But I never hate a country for their leader.

No, just the 51% that put him in office.Voted for by shardsofapertur.
I think he and alot of the more "hard line" members of his party have done a lot to hurt civil liberties. It angers the hell out of me. It feels like they are trying to control everything we know... like old Russia you know?

He is the chosen leader of your nation. Your voters made him so. Isn’t this true?
