What do you think of the abortion doc in Kansas?

This doctor in Kansas gives abortions after 22 weeks, which is illegal unless you have a medical reason. A judge wants to look into his records, with probable cause, and see if he is performing illegal abortions and if the women are under a certain age where she would be considered rape, which the doctor should report. Many people are claiming that privacy trumps the laws ability to search this guy’s records. I personally think that is just a cop out by many people who want to have late term abortions. It is illegal, why would you want to protect someone who is murdering babies, because by law he is, morality issue or not? Privacy does not trump a search with probable cause. Does anyone else agree or disagree?

Unless the law was changed without my knowledge,it is legal. And no ,won’t be your problem, either way.

  • should

they have probable cause so they should be alllowed to go through his records and see what he has been up to. i do have to admit it is illegal and very dangerous to have an abortion after so long and since it is the law it is not a moral issue technically but them abiding by the rules.

  • the women's/girls' privacy

it's not his privacy I'm concerned about. It's those girls, I'm sorry but unless you've had to make that decision, I don't want to hear the "morality" and "murdering babies", it's not your place, it is THAT GIRL'S personal decision.

  • Check the doctor out

Really not much for me to say here for I do not believe in abortion. But, I will say I do not believe the doctor's so-called privacy rights should trump the law in any way.
