Where does your hope come from?

...What gives you the hope to live everyday? There's gotta be something more than, "Crap, I'm hungry and there's food in teh fridge, so I guess I'll get up,"
  • God's Word.
    The Bible gives a hope that nothing of this earth could give. The small things are a reflection of taht great hope in Jesus Christ's sacrifice. That's where I find hope to live.

    I'll list them

    the need for love, a neighbour's comforting words, a friends well placed smile, a strangers comforting gaze, sun shining through the leaves of a tree, a bumble bee buzzing from flower to flower, the feel of rain on my head, the sound of snow, the twinkling of stars, the feeling of being so small and still being able to make a difference, the need to lend a helping hand, the defense of people weaker than you, the satisfaction of a well timed kiss.

    what it boils down to is simple, everything can give you hope. whether it be the bible, or an ant carrying a leaf 10 times its mass, it is one and the same.

    but no one thing can give you the hope to survive. it must be an accumulation of things.

  • Opposition
    I don't know if it can be called something that gives me hope, but I get up every morning because I know I will find new challenges and opposition. My style and way of thinking brought me many people who dislike me, knowing that there will be a fight (mental or physical) gives me the feeling that I need to continue living, to show people what life can be like when there are hardly any boundaries in your mind.
